Alex Mercer vs Karthus

He shouldn't have it. He in no way qualifies as an undead, the virus/biomass is very much alive.
Mercer's body was a corpse which was infected and reanimated into what it is now, with the same appearance as when it was dead. Viruses are neither living or dead in the technical sense. Mercer's statement about being "beyond life and death" does heavily suggest Type 7 Immortality (not enough for Type 5 Immortality though. Lol) when combined with the fact that his body was a reanimated corpse.

Not like this matters either way as this matchup involves 3 characters, with Mercer likely getting outhaxed by the other two with no counters here.

oh sure when everyone else replaces 'inconclusive' with 682 or thunder mcqueen its fine but when i do it im crazy

Either way, Mercer can't deal with passive intangibility with special Death Manipulation hax (that works beyond the conventional Death hax), so that matchup is a stomp in Karthus' favour.
