Akatosh vs Asriel Dreemurr

I guess Akatosh via better immortality, Conceptual Manipulation and Abstract existance meaning Asriel can't kill him and he also omnipresent

Asriel's abilities seem to be a lot better and her power seems to be more useful for combat. TES gods are pretty much on the low end of their tier.

Edit: Asriel is a he even.

but how does Asriel get past his conceptual manipulation, abstract existence, and his stronger time manipulation?

and akatosh has a chance to be High 2-A

Eh Akatosh's conceptual manipulation is pretty low tier, limited to purely time and I'm not so sure he has stronger time manipulation feats that Asriel.

Asriel's powerlist has him being immune to time paradoxes and beings able to erase entire timelines, the only issue he may have is getting past Akatosh's abstract existence. I don't think Akatosh can do anything to Asriel.

Also, Asriel's rating is actually higher than Akatosh's right now.

Ok then count my vote as Inconclusive i don't think Akatosh have a way to kill Asriel and Asriel can't kill him due to his abstract exitence

Akatosh created time by physically manifesting himself.

Also as Riiingo pointed out there is a chance that Akatosh may get upgraded.

And according to a few statements by Septimus Signus in Skyrim there is a possibility that time in TES isn't just linear.

But Gywn, do you think there is any way for them to harm each other? Akatosh doesn't have much in the way of combat feats and Asriel in turn probably can't get past Akatosh's abstract existence.

The way I think of TES gods - they are more forces of nature than actual people. Think of it like this: gravity might be a universal force, but it can't exactly beat you up and take your lunch money, the same goes for time.

No doubt. But Akatosh in Oblivion wasn't a 2-A combat feat and it was probably a case of Martin using Akatosh's power.

I'm not voting in favor of Akatosh, i'm just pointing out that TES characters aren't merely on the lowest part of their tiers.

I wouldn't call them either a force or a person. They are something inbetween, they aren't a personification of concepts either (like the Endless) they are just extremely "close" to the thing they choose to represent.

With exceptions being Akatosh who created the concept of time and Sheogorath who also exists in the minds of people showing a very strong connection with his concept.Other Et'Ada don't share these traits though.

I believe they all embody their concepts in a similar vein to Akatosh and Sheogorath,as at the end of the day they are all the same thing:

"Mephala:

As known in the West, Mephala is the demon of murder, sex, and secrets. All of these themes contain subtle aspects and violent ones (assassination/genocide, courtship/orgy, tact/poetic truths); Mephala is understood paradoxically to contain and integratethese contradictory themes.

  • Vivec and Mephala (Book)"

"Daedra were born before stars, mortal. Do you consider that perhaps such names preceded, hence perhaps inspired, the concepts they connote?

  • N'Gasta"

"What is the purpose of the Psijic Endeavor? (OOG)

To transcend mortal boundaries set in place by immortal rulers. At its simplest, the state of chim provides an escape from all known laws of the divine worlds and the corruptions of the black sea of Oblivion. It is a return to the first brush of Anu-Padomay, where stasis and change created possibility.

  • Vehk's Teachings"
This last one implies the Ada set the laws of the Aurbis.

Dagon is also linked to natural disasters due to his sphere of destruction.

When I said low end I just meant that they don't have the 2-A rating because they have feats of destroying an infinite multiverse, as most characters in this tier do. Their rating is for other reasons, not always combat orientated.
