Advertisements

Anyone annoyed with the fact that there are advertisements in the middle of character profiles? I know I am. It's nice that the wikia is promoting other wikias, but the way they did it really rustles my jimmies. Thoughts?

Personally, I use Adblocker to prevent this, even though I know it's frowned upon.

I see. Does Adblocker block any relevant features or just those annoying ones? Be it on this site or others?

It stops almost every kind of ad from appearing. The one's linings the sides, the top, and most popups.

I see. Where do I get the Adblocker? I'm iffy about downloading it from random sites.

You can get it directly from the Chrome Web Store (assuming you use Chrome).

Otherwise you can use the original Adblock or Adblocker Plus. They work almost identically, so either works.

Just google search for "adblock firefox", and the official site should show up.

I think that Chrome has a similar program, although not for mobile devices.

You can just turn off ads via your preference settings

Use Ublock Origin, other adblockers makes browser slower and takes more time to load page
