aight lets break this down.

Smasher has superior AP and durability, can resist the vast majority of Jansen's offensive hax and has explosives that should be able to provide him a technical advantage due to area of effect.

Jansen has far superior intellect and skill when it comes to combat as he is far more masterful in hand to hand (although a bad choice in this fight) and marksmen-ship and he also has his nanoblades which can bypass durability which is a big boon in this fight and he also has information analysis which honestly will be invaluable in this fight as he would be able to see that Adam is packing far more impressive fire power which would allow Jensen to plan around it.

so as far as I see this fight is basically Smasher vs Black hand 2.0 but this time black hand is not only stronger, he has more abilities and a far more useful overall kit.

This fight goes one of two ways.

Way number one the most likely one, Jensen analyses Adam and sees that he is outclassed in pure muscle so he keeps his distance and whittles smasher down from a distance or uses his invisibility in conjunction with his nanoblades to deliver multiple fatal strikes to smasher,

Way number two, Jensen doesn't analyze smasher (less likely) and simply tries to take him down without planning out the fight and gets overwhelmed by smashers AP and dura advantage ones in close range. Although even in this unlikely scenario Jensen has a chance of victory through his better CqC and nanoblades

overall Jansen wins more often than not about 7/10 due to superior combat sense, expertise in CqC , marksmanship and strategy.

Vote counted, the ap gap is pretty much a 2x difference because the 9-a calc doesn't consider the armor and gear the plasma rifle calc vaporizes.

Jensen also has a speed boost and force field on his side to get out of sticky situation if he gets pushed to use them.

Smasher isn't actually a foreign kind of enemy to Jensen as he has faced multiple "ogre" type enemies like Marchenko and Barret who are also hulking men filled with augmentations in their body like Smasher for example. So it's completely in his character to analyze the fight at hand and think about the best approach to take on Smasher.

well smasher is a bit more special since his type of augment is all about speed and power as the dai oni was specifically made to counter the dragoon's fire power and durability through speed and versatility but again it is far more likely for Jensen to analyze smasher no matter what

They have same lifting strength funny enough, so Jensen can grapple with Smasher which is a huge help for him in melee.

eh wouldn't say that is the best Idea since ya know smasher has a shoulder mounted TOW rocket launcher so the moment Jensen goes to grapple (which will already be difficult since smasher is 3.1 meters tall or 10 feet making grappling difficult for Jensen due to the size difference) Jensen would receive a point black rocket straight to the dome and would get promptly pummeled into the ground a few seconds later.

I'm voting for Jensen he's not dumb enough to go Close quarters against big bulky guys and use his stealth mastery and long distance weapons can paralyze the opponent.

to bad we can't put him up against V since that is a stomp in either direction depending on what V we use and considering the upgrades we've got in this new patch and DLC, V is now not only packed with more hax and stat amps but is also outright faster since he can deflect bullets with a sword now (without the use of a sandy) so if we use top V its even more of a stomp than it was before which is sad

Jensen is still Hypersonic+ at base but with the help of his sandevistan and his new probable stats he would probably be faster than Jensen. The biggest reason I find Jensen VS V a stomp is more of ap difference and V's superior weaponry despite Jensen having better and more versatile practical augs imo.

I mean true but with the stat amps that are not even tied into cyberware V now has an outright hax superiority to Jensen with multiple types of stat amps, self healing, electricity manipulation and more. Like with the current update they really took the whole notion that V is a force of nature in the Cyberpunk universe and ramped it up to 11 (and this is without mantioning the new gear and abilities from the DLC which btw are also busted)
