Ikki Kurogane vs Misogi Kumagawa

Yes. This is just too good to not be done. Both are the "weakest" character of their verse but they basically destroy everyone who gets in their way Except Iihiko. Also because I feel like Kumagawa either hates Ikki for being a main character who always win or he likes him for being the underdog that managed to trample the strong.

Ikki is at "Vermillion Empire Arc", he starts at base but he can powerup, Kumagawa has both All-Fiction (the one from Hundred Gauntlets) and Bookmaker. I'm not sure if Ikki starts at Desperado in this key, but I feel like it would be fair anyway thanks to bookmaker.

Speed probably doesn't need to be equalized due to Kuma's "lol King Crimson", plus I don't know how high is base Ikki's "FTL".

Even if my opponent is more powerful than me, I will win. It is the answer that I, the weakest one, came up with:

I want to beat the talented, smart, likable, over-achieving people. I want to beat the people who work hard when I can't work hard. I want to prove that I'm better than the main characters!!:

I don't know what to write in here. I'm open to suggestions

Ikki Kurogane
I have Skill!

New Kumagawa pic
I have Minus!

That moment when you're the OP so you cannot vote to start speeding up this thread...

So, couple of questions right out of the bat, does Ikki start in Desperado in this key?

Okay. So, question that is basically the whole match.

How would Bookmaker interact with Desperado Ikki?
2 possibilities:

1. It won't affect it similar to how it can't affect medaka's ability to be a protagonist

2. It will affect it. Which will mean ikki gets bookmakered then it evolves into a stalemate. With ikki eventually winning due to having a mentality advantage. He could beat 4 clones because of the very same reason.

Yes it couldn't stop the trait of being favoured by plot/ fate. Why would it affect the trait to be beyond it?

Yes but desperado lol nopes anything from all fiction.

Because in the first place, Medaka apparently won via "having the support if her allies and enemies while Kumagawa only had the support of his allies", or something like that.

Wouldn't Bookmaker negate Desperado?

Then we run into the problem

If the passives work, it's a stomp fir Ikki

If not, it's a stomp for Misogi.

So.....DELET?

I don't see why passives not working would make it an automatic stomp for Kumagawa.

Especially considering that Earl and I are still debating. Kinda

What passives?

@Triforce

Yes, basically something that wasn't skill, growth, stat or hax.

Depends. It wouldn't make him affected by causality if he's beyond it. Same as how it doesn't turn someone from 4D to 3D if it hits. That's the idea, some very special traits of existence don't get nulled.

Does Ikki have any instant hax? Kumagawa can still Book Maker blitz or thought based screw spawn since they do not mess with ikki's causal systems

Depends on where he screws it, and since this is Kumagawa, he will land the screws where they will end the fight. Book Maker will also make it so Kumagawa is just a better version of Ikki

Kumas screw spam doesn't deal damage.

Not a better version. An equal version. Ikki's transcendence over his limit should still give him an edge.
