A major update to Dragon Ball timelines

Technically they're both canon to the extended multiverse of Dragon Ball with the GT continuity just being one of many of those "Alternate timelines". Of course we should still avoid making use of any cross scaling outside of both versions being usable for Dragon Ball Heroes scaling.

This seems fair to me.

I'm also of the opinion that we shouldn't be doing any cross-scaling.

It is for this very purpose, without doing any scaling, DBGT will only become canonical the canonical cosmology as a distinct timeline like the line of trunks, but people were quoting from downgrade and upgrade.

what is your opinion on gt and super being listed as if they were in the same timeline? that is one of the links in the op btw, with the quote from akira in the op not saying that gt is an alternate story, but a side story

Yeah that’s what the crt was proposing for gt to merely be an Alternate Timeline within the cosmology since the cosmology already accepted as 2-B

They did but either way it’s 48 hours and 4 minutes now so I’ll add GT into the 2-B cosmology and get this thread closed since 4 staff agreed with the proposal
