A kid tries talking a dude out of killing himself.

Thunder is pretty much a gigantic loophole in the "no stomps" rule, because his power focuses on getting an inconclusive instead of getting a win.
Well, think of it this way. His fights with Freddy Fazbear and King from One Punch Man are perfectly valid. In a fight, Thunder could potentially win. He just loses 100% of the time because of his personality, so it's not a stomp. The matches I mentioned though, are literally impossible for him to win even if he wanted to.

You got the occasional good ones. But the more entertaining ones are the ones he could actually win or lose.

Heck I'd love to see him face that annoying guy you escort on that one Fallout Game. Maybe that somehow breaks him free from his suicide route.

I think you guys are significantly overestimating the usefulness of save and load here

Infinite tries against someone who will not stop wanting to die no matter what you say to him doesn't help

Here how the fight goes

Frisk talks thunder yeets himself

Frisk resets and says something new thunder yeets himself

Repeat for all of eternity

Talking to thunder makes him want to die even more

So basically

Another thunderclusive

Both those dates were weird, and not serious. We need Chris up in here.

Also that might actually might make him want to off himself, TFW your only game is a 11-14 year old who's only doing it out of pity.

No thunder matches are really "fair"

They all end incon

Its like lucius But he doesn't win

While I agree that most Thunder matches are boring because they all go inconclusive, they can be quite interesting in situations like these, against a character who is known for talking people out of doing bad things, (just look at his match against Steven) anyways, Frisk FRA then.

True, but I'm am pretty sure that Frisk could eventually talk Thunder out of it with Infinite tries.

(Also I'm a little rusty on UT lore, but don't people start to become more aware of resets the more they happen or am I just remembering some weird fan theory?)

Um, what are wincons for Thunder here exactly? He cannot physically kill Frisk (Save-Load cancels that out) here, and Frisk has some hax like sleep inducement, timeline destruction and power nulling that can knock out or counter McQueen's BS

Save Load doesn't even matter for him physically killing Frisk. Even with almost no Determination, Frisk is building level and Thunder is Street level. Frisk is over one thousand times stronger than him at Frisk's weakest level possible and that's not exaggerating.

Except Frisk will most likely never hurt Thunder here because this is Pacifist-Route Frisk?

The only way they'd hurt Thunder is if he's forced to, like with Asgore and Flowey.

Also doesn't H2H ignore dura? AP doesn't matter here since neither are going to use their AP.

He doesn't need to hurt him, he can just hold him down, he has more than enough strength to do that. HtH ignores dura but it also kills Thunder too. It's a stomp because even if Thunder wanted to win he couldn't.

Um no, there isn't an incon condition here either. They can't be "friends", but neither can Frisk die, so at one point Frisk will induce Sleep manip, power null, any other hax or superior AP to knock out Thunder. It isn't like people with higher AP can't reduce the effectiveness of their attack

Or Frisk can just run away or give up and not face Thunder since he can't see any way to win without harming Thunder.

...Would that count as a win for Thunder?
