Meanwhile Spongebob is getting all his hax and studying humans in Sandy's lab, while the human is getting all his weapons ready and studying Spongebob.

I don't know what the vulcano would do (even through Spongebob could fly off, teleport off or reverse gravity to get out if it doesn't finish him off really quickly), but wouldn't the flamethrower just reduce it to ashes at best? Spongebob's regen covers that.
