Uhhh, did you account for hollowness, btw? Most sticks that have fallen out of trees are hollow inside
85% hollowness would be preferable, the 50% diameter statement refers to tree trunks, branches are usually far more hollow than that. It has to be over 70%, as that's the critical point for tree trunks, where they usually fall, and would be considerable higher for branches.

But it being deliberate seems unlikely unless Sans was purposefully trying to alert Frisk, despite that he seems to be trying to be hide after the sound happens, right?

I mean, this topic seems kinda of unrelated to the current problem. The feat was acknowledged, but the calc for it was ultimately rejected due to "Bro, I can go outside NOW and do that shit."

The feat surely is unimpressive, even though it was portrayed as something major by the narrative.

Well. Being in sandals and smashing a tree branch thats super tough like that is, gonna be tough even for a human to pull off. At minimum id give sans at least 10-B, possibly higher and have the feat acknowledged

Muscular humans would have less trouble, I believe.
