I don't see any calculations to support this and anything for claims of characters being 8-C to 8-A is because they fought another character. Could aI please need some evidence of feats for this?

8-C and 8-B Kimetsu no Yaiba?

The characters are 8C due to scaling much higher than other 9A characters and because Zo Hakuten is an amalgamationof 4 9A characters. If you even assumed the emotion clones were equal to BoS Tanjirou (which they aren't) adding that gives you .32 tons which is 8C
As for the 8B rating it's because Douma has an 8B calc that some characters scale to.

I added a calculations section for the Kimetsu no Yaiba page and added that calculation, now I breath a sigh of relief

Only Muzan is 8-A because he's hilariously stronger than Doma who did a 8-B+ (70 tons) feat while weakened.
