On one side we have a badass born killer. A deranged psychopath whose supernatural abilities originate from their hardship and trauma. On the other side, we have a guy that likes taking enthusiastic walks with gardening equipment. The result should be obvious.

For real, though: Shiranui seems to have a slight AP advantage. With her cutlery danmaku and general fighting skill, she should be able to pressure Denji enough to get Real Eater going. After Real Eater did its job, Denji should be easy to defeat.
 
What is Shiranui's AP again? Plus, doesn't she need to get up close and personal to activate Real Eater? Denji's Class 5 LS might be enough to pry Shiranui away whenever she tries to modify his powers.
 
She somewhat upscales from baseline. It's not much, but it's something.

If she summons the shadow maw separate from her body it should have some range. So she doesn't have to cling to him or anything.
 
So how far do you think her Real Eater can **** with Denji's abilities? Like, for example... Could she change his regen (high-mid) to regen (low) or add that it will take a thousand or so years to come back to life via his immortality?
 
I mean, for a start abilities that she modified can't be used against her. So anything offensive is out.
For the regeneration she could either add some restriction, like "it can only be used one time", or she could simply change it into a completely different ability.
 
how does real eater work again? because the profile say she need to eat the opponent in order to do it,
 
I did not expect to see a character looking like that in a Psychopathic tourney, it's even more hilarious side by side with Denji's Devil Form

She doesn't have to eat them herself. She summons a giant shadow maw that swallows the opponent whole. Once that happens the skills can be modified.

Basically, this. In this context, skills mean abilities. And Shiranui is probably willing to use Real Eater right off the bat due to SBA.
 
Ye, but I am honestly willing to bet that the second she sees Denji, she'll be trying to use Real Eater on him. She will likely assume Denji has superpowers, like a lot of the people she knows in her verse, and pounce on him to turn his offensive ineffective against her via her modifying them to not working on her and/or limit his supportive abilities by adding crippling weaknesses or turn them into something that actively hurts Denji.
 
Although, in canon, she was briefly on a "team" that the series itself criticized for being arrogant bastards who are willing to let themselves get hit first because they are confident in their abilities to survive, and got their assess sealed for a large bit of an entire story arc... Granted, they were completely and utterly justified, and a lot of them could get out but were just too lazy to do so.

... Could be wrong, tho. Might have mixed up Shiranui with someone else
 
Need context about people trying to resist Shiranui ability because Denji could perfectly overpower the monster with his LS

Because Shiranui lacks LS, if it worked in superhuman characters like Medaka with her Class K, then Denji is out, if it did not work with anyone with more LS than Denji, nothing stops him of stopping the bite

And her range with this ability exceeds his,he could manage to ouutgrapple its bite with his class 5 LS, and whatnnext would be for him to CQC maul her with his Chainsaws
 
Hmm, I thought that abstract existence by default granted incorporeality but if he can be physically interacted then don't matter.

Also, since Shiranui seem to have everything at her favor I vote to her.
 
Chainsaw devil form is controlled by Pochita, who could fold an entire squad of handpicked military soldiers chosen by Kishibe to defeat Makima, while in Denji's human form.

He could also fight and beat 5 other hybrid devils at once while weakened by Makima's propaganda turning him into a hero and turning the fear people had for him into admiration.
One of the said hybrid devils being Quanxi who is the first devil hunter, has been hunting devils for long before Kishibe was born (who's the second devil hunter to have survived longest in the business) who also stated that "If all humans on earth joined into a barehanded fist fight she would without a doubt be the winner". She also has proper military training.

Chainsaw Devil is also pretty hated in hell and constantly hunting and being hunted by other devils, to the point one of it's unfulfilled dreams is being hugged by someone, wich Denji did.

Sooooo he stomped people weaker than him?
 
Also, he can control his chains to do things like launching large slabs of ground at people, swinging like indiana jones spider man and grabbing people. He has pretty good precision when it comes to using them, such as when he ripped his own heart and threw it like a meteor at Makima and then grabbed her with his chains before falling.

No? First feat is human form denji who got his neck broken by Kishibe, who's human.
The fight against hybrids happens after makima weakens him and he returns to regular chainsaw man mode ( they can even hurt him and chop limbs off.)
The devil part is accurate, since he stomps like 90% of hell. The devils do have some varied abilities and hax, so it's mostly experience
 
That being said, it's hard to predict what he would do here since like Makima said
1.Chainsaw Devil does not wear clothes
2.Chainsaw Devil does not speak
3.Every action he takes must be chaotic
In general he reacts to maliciouness by immediately killing his opponents, but when it comes to attacks he sometimes decides to evade as much as he can and sometimes just trusts his regeneration and tanks them.
If Hansode uses her real eater i feel like most reallistically he'd try to attack or cut through it and get eaten.

Just having similar tier doesn't mean not stronger.
I mean, going that path, Kumagawa stomped Team Loser and the Plus Six, who were a total of 14 people on the skill and ability level of Kei and Shigusa. Shiranui can keep up with Kumagawa.

I think this pushes the odds in Shiranui's deck by quite a lot, so... Shiranui FRA.
 
All right, so...
Human form<<<Chainsaw man form<<<Chainsaw Devil. In the scans we have Makima getting pierced by bullets and being stunlocked by constant head shots. While it's clear she could probably react to them and is holding back to get Denji to help her, you can't hold back physical durability. After that Pochita takes over Denji's body and beats the entire squad in human form before going Chainsaw Devil. This form as shown above can stomp her and all other 7 hybrid devils at once. It also blitzes them and is barely hurt by their attacks.

Some time later Chainsaw Devil loses that form due to Makima turning the fear they had for him into love and admiration. Then we see Pochita fighting in the chainsaw man form against the hybrids. Now he can get surprised by them and hurt by their attacks, one of them even stating he's much weaker than before but Pochita still always delivers a lethal counterattack back, until he trades blows with Quanxi and both are defeated.

Now, Makima heals him back to full health with her blood and they have a direct physical fight. Both take heavy damage from their blows until Makima eventually blasts a hole through his chest and rips out his heart. Proving that a Makima who takes damage from bullets is physically comparable to this weakened Chainsaw man version, who's stronger than human Denji, same human Denji who also got his neck broken by Kishibe, who is still peak human by the verse's standards.
I agree the part with the military squad can be iffy since they were offscreened (even if human denji is definitely not bulletproof), but Chainsawman Denji is definitely presented as comparable to the other 7 hybrid devils, and at least comparable to Quanxi in skill.
