8-A Tournament Round 1, Match 1 (Pikachu VS Blade Wolf)

Was it at a power plant in fact give a scan please.
No, its just standard pikachus, their electric attacks have wattage comparable to natural lightning, which is 10 gigawatts, whereas large cities like New York City use 11 gigawatts per hour

So yeah, unless Bladewolf has feats of resisting an entire city's worth of electricity being pumped into him, Pikachu just nukes the battlefield with Discharge or spams stat amps and hits him with any electric attack

Well, Pikachu's range is higher (Pikachu's at least 100 meters if not higher vs Wolf's at most 90 meters with knives) so how Wolf can cover range?

Stealth, though Blade Wolf will be detected by Pikachu at a certain a certain distance

I’m going with Pikachu. Electric types resisting metal attacks and just...overall being able to electrocute with no problem and paralyze doesn’t seem to be too much of a hassle. Also if this is a person it’s going to have a heck of a time hitting a 1 ft rat.

Not when said metal attacks negate durability to such an extent that not a single pokemon resists. but otherwise those are good points

Mind you Nasty Plot is pretty much thought activated only requiring a second of thinking, so thinking twice would make 2 buffs in at least 2 seconds which should be enough to do Discharge with the buffs before Blade Wolf could get close. Even if he did get close, how would he hit a 1 ft tall opponent?

2 seconds is MORE then enough time for Blade wolf to cross hundreds of meters at Massively Hypersonic+ speeds, and unless Pikachu can move while using Discharge he basically dies right then and there, that scenario actually leads to a Blade Wolf victory. By covering escapes, he has a massive chainsaw and can turn himself into a makeshift beyblade with it. Prior Knowledge means that Blade Wolf will also avoid getting hit at all costs, so if Pikachu leaves himself open for even half a second when Blade Wolf is up close he dies.

Okay good, how well can he dodge while using Discharge? While I still doubt that electricity will incap Blade Wolf, considering a weakness to electromagnetic pulses(what an EMP actually is) is all that's on the profile, it will still severely damage him due to the AP gap however

Pretty much the same as how it dodges normally

Since Pikachu has previous knowledge, it'll use agility + nasty plot to easily dodge the atfack and perform a discharge, which have a relatively high chance of paralysis and would one shot Blade Wolf due to the AP gap

I'm leaning toward Pikachu here

And before you say it weekly Pikachu needs Magnatism Manipulation on top of electricity Manipulation to turn Blade Wolf off like he hit a switch, and EMPs are listed as Magnetism Manipulation on Raiden's profile.

Did you not read that Blade Wolf has type 2 immortality? He can literally survive while in like 50 pieces

so Blade Wolf gets hit depending on how ranged Discharge is, im asking its AOE since Blade Wolf would know its aoe as well, also Electricity anything burns down Central Park if it hits anything green or brown, which isn't a very good thing to happen to the rat who doesn't resist fire Manipulation

The same range as all its other moves, being hundreds of meters. Plus, the burning would be irrelevant since it burns away most of the trees and grass by sheer AP anyways and how it wouldnt even be near any trees

I mean how big is the AOE, otherwise we would have some real dead trainers with hundreds of meters.

Anyways, if Blade Wolf cannot escape that in the nick of time after Pikachu only thinks twice and then discharges, he may as well be fried, and given how you said his in character tactic is to get near, Pikachu just runs the opposite direction and does the moves before doing Discharge.

In all honesty, Pikachu seems more likely to take this.

I would like a scan on Discharge having an AOE that covers hundreds of meters, I do doubt it, mostly because Pikachu could literally spam Discharge in every fight and get good results.

It is actually the common standard that most first evolution Pokemon scale to, mainly upscaling from their previous evolutions.
