So I'm revisiting this topic (can't bump the old thread due to necrobumping rules): https://vsbattles.com/threads/storm-calculation-issues.160914/
I'll put up the key points of the last thread's OP as follows.:
1. Cumulonimbus clouds (which we base storms on) are actually 15 miles in diameter...
If a character that can manipulate the weather pushes their ability to the level of manipulating space weather and causing space storms (such as aurora borealis or space dust clouds, or just solar storms in general), is it just new applications of Weather Manipulation or is it straight up new...
So, pretty much wished to ask what CAPE is for.
I know the KE calc for storms is assuming that the water (cloud or otherwise) is being moved at massive speeds to a point to create a storm.
If I understood correctly, CAPE is taking already present water and condensating it into a storm, yes?
So, I'm thinking of making a few profiles, and one character is described as being the source of all oceanic storms. So, in order to tier him, I was wondering what the strongest hurricane or typhoon or whatever would be classified as

I feel like this definition is not explained well enough, and that there's some confusion on what it actually classifies as.
I'll post some examples that are similar, and others that are very diffierent.
But some of my own thoughts first. From what I have gathered, ED seems to be based on...
I create a new Battle Royale thread because the previous one is pretty much dead and plenty of stuff has changed since then.
But let's get 2 things out of the way first. Speed is equalized and Masadaverse characters are banned.
And please, do not pick mass-wipers, for the love of god.
Max...
So if a character wipes out life on the surface of the earth by "poisoning the sky with his toxic breath", what power would that be?
Would it be any kind of Weather Manip or just large-scale Poison Manipulation?

I have been working on a calculations blog that is meant to be used as a reference for storm feats in the future, with a table of results obtained from different variables that are used. I would like some input on...
In The Year Without a Santa Claus, Heat Miser is shown melting the Moo. Several users accepted it, but others, notably Ryukama, does not like it due to its cartoonish nature. So he suggested I fall back to his secondary feats: Global Control of the weather and moving alongside natural reflected...
Because I need more Pokémon feats, I wanted to know about Vanilluxe's blizzard storm creation.
"Swallowing large amounts of water, they make snow clouds inside their bodies and, when angry, cause violent blizzards."
"If both heads get angry simultaneously, this Pokémon expels a blizzard...
For example Hiyori from Sno is able to manipulate the weather on a planetary scale producing thunderstorms, large cyclones, twisters, and strong winds. She also able to life wipe the earth of Humans and animals by lowering the air pressure.
So, Dark has already done a calc (sort of) so I don't exactly have a specific rating for this feat yet. However. My question is, since Russia does have control over general winter who has "toppled entire armies", would this be changing weather or climate control? Reason I'm asking is because if...
Recently, there seems to be a disagreement amongst the staff regarding whether or not we should gauge weather manipulation as regular Attack Potency, or as "environmental destruction" (that it is not necessarily possible to use all of the required energy as focused attacks)...
