Some of the justifications on Bill's page are... a bit ridiculous, and I feel like they should be removed.
Overpowered 6 to 8 football players with an injured knee
It's 6, and he didn't really "overpower" them. They grabbed onto him and he simply dragged them to the goal. He also struggled to...
Awfully presumptuous of you. Would you like me to take a picture of the genuine, bonafide copy of Sekiro I have in my room right now? I feel like that might be sufficient.
But also, no. You're still wrong. The lightning in the background does take more than one frame to land, yes, but it's also...
You can't calc the speed. I've explained this to you elsewhere, but the lightning strikes within a single frame. It's impossible to compare it to anything else.
Just because you catch the lightning doesn't mean you're moving at comparable speeds to it. Lightning rods catch lightning as well, and that's basically what Wolf is acting like during the feat. He's not moving his hand at massively hypersonic speeds to grab a bolt out of the air, it's simply...
A few pages I feel we could use:
Agent 3
Pearl
Agent 4/8
Team Blue (from the manga)
There's plenty more people in the manga who do have feats, obviously, but I don't think we need to create tens of unecessary pages that all come down to "somewhat scales to Team Blue".
To resummarize my argument that Pearl's Killer Wail is stronger than a normal one:
Pearl's voice was powerful enough to damage a venue even as a child, which was noteworthy enough to get into the news
Marina mentions that Pearl has to be the one to use the Killer Wail, and even Pearl acts like...
I'm using energy per second because the latter is physically impossible.
Tokyo uses 240,782.78 GWh of energy, which is Tier 7, but that is on a per year basis. For reference, in order to reach just Low 7-C DJ Octavio would have to spend nearly two and a half minutes charging his Killer Wail...
So, can I assume you agree with the proposed changes?
Well, I'm getting High 8-C from the amount of power per second.
The Great Zapfish does produce Tier 7 amounts of energy, but that is over a period of weeks, not the mere seconds involved during DJ Octavio's attacks.
As I have mentioned before in this thread, there are flaws with that calculation. If you still believe Octavio is 7-B, please address those points instead of just repeating the claim.
You misread the sentence.
I said that if a feat has evidence against cinematic timing, then we should not...
And Pearl's version of the Killer Wail is "more ultimate" than a normal Inkling's. The beam is larger, her voice is shown to be unusually strong, and she yells into the megaphone unlike a normal attack.
On the other hand, there is no evidence that Pearl's Killer Wail is as weak as a normal...
Pearl is explicitly the one who has to use the Killer Wail. Marina even references this as if it is an ultimate attack of theirs.
Pearl is shown to have a very powerful voice in the Sunken Scrolls, with it being strong enough to get in the news.
Pearl is shown to yell directly into her Killer...
Okay, so this is what DJ Octavio's justification is, not what's on the page right now. So, in either case that needs to be updated.
But before we do that, this reasoning is flawed.
Octavio does not absorb all the power of the Great Zapfish, he was just using it as a power source. This is a...
Assuming Golem has a diameter of 0.6 meters and a drag coefficient of 0.5, his terminal velocity would be 83.7 m/s. We can't calculate how fast he would roll down a slope, since the slope would affect air flow, but it would likely be lower than his terminal velocity.
I did not say that Pearl's Killer Wail was made differently, I said that her voice is much stronger than a normal Inkling's. If Pearl's singing voice was just as powerful as a normal Inkling's singing voice, then her destroying a venue by singing wouldn't be a newsworthy event. In addition...
Currently, the Inklings are rated as Small City level+ and Subsonic for being able to defeat DJ Octavio and for being able to react to their own weapon projectiles. Octavio is rated at Small City level+ for using a Killer Wail weapon, which is scaled to Pearl's Killer Wail overpowering Tartar's...
Let's try a different perspective.
What if we assume real life has souls for the purposes of a thread unless we can prove that real life does not have the kind of soul a verse in question uses?
So, for example, if a verse's conception of a soul is "an intangible, insensible object that neither...
If it happened in real life then it's scientifically possible, by definition. There may be people who were declared medically dead and then rose again, but there are no cases of something truly miraculous (like someone reviving from their heart being torn out) occurring in reality. At least, no...

I don't know about our policies on openings or any of that but the request is fulfilled.
Nothing? If the soul is completely intangible, insensible, and causes nor reacts to anything... then wouldn't it just not exist for the purpose of a debate? Or, at least, its existence would be so meaningless to the "character" it's tied to that manipulating it would accomplish nothing...
@Antvasima
Yes, I can handle that.

The luminosity of a black hole is dependent on the rate at which it gains mass. Unfortunately, this isn't something we can really calculate unless we had a ridiculous amount of information on the black hole.
No. What I'm saying is that the assumption behind the calculation (that she was converting the mass of the black hole into energy) isn't true. The text is stating that she's converting the energy emitted by the black hole into energy blasts at 81% efficiency, not that she is turning the black...
There's quite a bit of misinterpretation going on in this thread.
To start with, she doesn't convert the mass of the black hole into energy. She states, quote, "[I] felt electromagnetic and gravitational fields wanting me to push them around, felt fissile reactions building, waiting to move...

Comets have a tail because they're composed of ice, and as they approach the Sun that ice begins to evaporate and forms a trail behind them.
Meteors are rocky, and it isn't heading towards the Sun. The only way for this meteor to begin producing bright light is by heat, and the only way for it...
"Can you prove that the meteor has already entered our atmosphere at that moment?"
We don't see the meteor until its ablation starts. And it can't start ablation unless it's in atmosphere.
We only catch the last few seconds of the meteor's trip, we don't see it go from the Moon to the Earth.
