    I don’t think any of those things have anything to do with skill. Grimm are almost all fodder anyways, and all of the stomps you mention can easily be explained away with AP/Speed.

    1. The fact that you can catch wild Birbs in Let’s Go by flying on the back of a Pokémon. On top of the typical set encounters. 2. The Galarian Birbs exist

    The main thing I can think of is that the Birbs are a group of species rather than a group of individuals. The Birbs in Sinnoh are very likely different from the ones in Kanto. Whether that warrants these individuals jumping from Tier 6 to 2 is another question.
