Hey Damage, I have some concerns about the ETSB that, I don’t think have been adequately addressed before. While i am an avid Naruto/Boruto supporter as you know, I do value being as correct and fine-tuned as possible.
That said, regarding the size of Kaguya’s Dimension… I have a hard time fully accepting that her dimension’s are “Solar System” Size, even as a low ball assumption, just because we know there is a “Sun Like” Object within them.
The reason I’m skeptical about that is because, in The Last, we see the Otsutsuki are more than capable of making sunlike objects in the sky that simulate day and night cycles (The Barrier around the Castle). In that case, the Barrier was just a few KM in the sky.
I think the fact that that even existed in that form is disqualifying on 2 accounts:
- Kaguya likely did not create a Legitimate “Star”.
- Kaguya’s Faux Star wouldn’t necessarily have to be an AU away from the planet to simulate day & night cycles.
I feel like the current accepted Meta for the ETSB is more arbitrary than fact based, and I don’t recall if those issues were adequately addressed and it really bugs me if they weren’t.
And that’s not to say that current Meta for it “isn’t” the case, but that there is really isn’t really proof that the concerns brought up also isn’t the case, and thus, would be inconclusive and unusable because then arbitrary assertions have to start being made.
At best all we know for Certain is that her Dimensions are a little more than the Distance between Earth and the moon, and we can’t even say it’s double that because if the Faux Star can simulate day & night cycles like in the last, what’s to say the moons we see in Kaguya’s Ice Dimension actually rotate around the planet and aren’t stationary? Better yet, what’s to say those “Moons” aren’t the actual “Faux Star(s)” simulating day and night cycles, like in the last (As I believe the Barrier also appeared as the moon in the night sky from afar)?
