New Profile:

Old Profile:

The new profile for The Auditor. I reworked his stat sections, redid his standard equipment, and finally gave him a proper key for his personal hell, which is the main reason for the tier 1 upgrade due to the project nexus game (main arguments are obviously on the page)

I also added abilities from the newest episode of the series Madness Combat 12, as well as abilities he was simply missing that he should have had from his summonable weapons.

I also reworked the Physiology page since it sucked. I removed some abilities. reworded some to make it make more sense, and added pretty minor abilities. nothing drastic was done here.

Old profile:

Agree: Reiner04 (Agrees with Low 1-C), Psychomaster35 (Neutral on tier 1), Alexander, DaReaperMan, Qawsedf234

Disagree:

I'd prefer a justification for Type 10 large size on Auditor's last key

Absolute Zero is colder than space, so the feat isn't AZ, it's just extreme cold resistance.

Everything else is fine.

Neutral on the tier 1 stuff since that's beyond my knowledge, but everything else looks fine to me.

Also, you nearly gave me a heart attack when you said Madness Combat 13 was out, but it wasn't

Why does the reference for 1-A just link to a quote which just regurgitates the claim, rather than referencing (hence the name) where it comes from?

Why does the reference for 1-A just link to a quote essentially the same thing
Because the place where the quote happens also has like 7 other things the character potentially says depending on circumstance/part of the game you're in, so to clear up confusion for non-knowledgeable members who wouldn't normally know that i referenced the direct quote instead of the direct area it comes from since that'd literally not help at all since it's a lobby area.

Slightly altered it to add that it comes from the games, and which part of the game specifically. (which i should've added in the first place but didn't really think about it until now)

You definitely should have, this is the whole point behind references

I don't think it is a concept hax, just looks like an another testament of his info manipulation (Since it is referred as a code). The rest are fine though

Also, I think you can add an additional evidence about Employers AP from the one Crackpot's speeches, where he implies that Employers sees Nevada as a dream (Sorry that I'm unable to show it here, but it had been his last note, if recall correctly)

I'm 99% sure in this context it's both info and concept hax.

Found the quote. it's apart of Crackpot's "Excerpts of His Buoyancy"

"...when the end of times, thusly foretold by His Buoyancy's great benefactor, the eminent Director Phobos, and those Higher Powers what saw it fit to pass, it will be at the failure of the Unbuoyant Masses to halt its coming.

"The fate of Nevada rests now in the hands of beings too lesser to know the responsibility they so willingly shoot, cut and bash their way to all of our ruin. We will be forgotten, everyone one of us, as a dream. And then we will be no more."

I'd like a mod to look at this quote before i put it on the profile as more evidence for 1-A though. I think it might be unclear on the dream part if that's really referring to the employers or not, as the fall of the machine would (assumably) wipe them out too.

This is possibly just the Plot Hax. Idk, if the character containing "Stories" within himself can qualify as a 1-A, tho

Not seeing 1-A tbh, but the abilities and new profiles seem fine enough.

Is this the only scan?

I am not sure if I should see this scan as implication of Qualitative superiority or just God lvl within-verse reality warping. I'll tag some staffs to make sure. @Qawsedf234 @Elizhaa @Ultima_Reality @DontTalkDT
As Employe mentioned above, there is a statement made about the machine potentially seeing the verse as a dream, but i wasn't sure if it was really solid enough. i'll repost the quote here.

He also has potential scaling to his brother, The Maker, who he himself claims that he to some capacity the creator of the verse, being the "will behind the pen", and in the game credits that happen at the start of a new playthrough, The Maker can be credited under for the creation of the series. Along with that The Maker is implied to being "above" the madness combat universe, having avoided being apart of The Machine's "composition" of everything that exists in this universe, or simply being apart of the story.

I can post most of the scans for above, but i believe some of this could be enough for 1-A aswell.

Forgetting something as mere dreams is different than seeing something as literal dream.

fair nough.

and, does that maker stuff look like anything at all useful for his tiering? i lowkey don't wanna go through the hassle of getting all those scans in game if its not gonna qualify him for anything.

Our tiering system states that:
Characters or objects residing in higher states of existence surpassing material composition as a whole and who are therefore completely unreachable and inaccessible to any and all extensions of the aforementioned structures. Their superiority over such realms, as such, is purely "qualitative"; based entirely on the ontological quality and nature of their existence, rather than any quantitative or numerical principle.

So yes, unless the context is something else. If you can bring the scans I will be able to evaluate them more precisely.

we win again due to the maker chat.

i'll grab the scans. might take me a fat minute.

Alright chat it's time for a scan drop, and full scaling explaination

The Maker, the "Creator? You're the All-Powerful god that... Invented Nevada?" as one called him, is the creator of The Machine, the entity which composites everything in the madness combat universe except for The Highest Power (The Maker)

The Maker being "the will behind the pen";

The Maker is above The Machine, and therefore above the madness combat universe.

The Maker saying he is not apart of the machine (The Maker is The Highest Power in this context);

The Maker is unseen and unperceived by The Machine. The Machine's influence reaches across the entire series and therefore The Maker is above it;

The Machine still scales to this, as The Maker says that it could take him into it's composition and control his fate should it ever find him.
The Maker saying he, the storyteller, can be pulled into The Machine;

Chart created by DarkSignal which depicts The Maker above The Machine and all of the Madness Combat Universe. The Official Madness: Project Nexus discord server (which have the creators of the series and games in said server) use this in their lore channel, so it's only fair i bring it up here.

I believe this is everything, however i will add more if i find it.

Alight. I agree with 1-A Maker.

I'll likely have to reword Auditor's 1-A reasoning since obviously the scaling has slightly changed.

This is what i currently mocked up:

"As an Employer, The Auditor was created as a being to maintain The Machine, an entity that is an all-governing body that exists within the manifold of what is real, and defines matter, space, time, purpose, intent, and fate. The Machine is powerful enough to threaten their sibling, The Maker, the storyteller and creator of the Madness Combat universe who exists above it and views it as a story"

Does this work?

What does this line means? I thought Maker was above Machine and it's composition and Machine shouldn't be able to harm it's creator in any form?

It actually mentions that Mystery Dude (One of names of The Maker) should try to not get dragged by The Machine

If machine can affect the Maker w/o his will then it's a major anti-feat for his 1-A Tier. I'll have disagree with Tier 1-A in that case.

The Maker previous could control The Machine and was seemingly above The Machine, however it can no longer control it without being perceived by it and being turned into a part of The Machine. The Machine became more powerful to a point The Machine could potentially effect The Maker and was able to write stories for Madness Combat itself. The series itself however is still fiction to The Maker, The Machine simply began seeing Madness Combat as fiction aswell.

You left out just about every bit of context you could to why he needs to avoid being encompassed by The Machine.

The Maker is above the series, and was formerly above The Machine. He eventually lost control of the machine which is likely when it became capable of encompassing it's creator. The Machine now currently writes stories for the madness combat universe the same way The Maker did and both are above the series.

That is the issue. 1-A characters must be unaffected and unreachable and irreducible to anything lower than itself. No additive process must be able to reach it's Tier. So Machine being able to drag it down to it's creation is a clear cut anti-feat/disqualifier.

The first practical effect of this fact is that the power of a 1-A character cannot be dispersed so much that it reaches into a lower tier. Since there is no conceivable extension of any lower tier that can yield equality to a 1-A structure, neither can there be any subdivision (Even an infinite subdivision) of 1-A that reduces down into such tiers. Unless, of course, this division is somehow non-quantitative in nature (i.e. The results of the division are not actually numerical "chunks" of the character's power); however, this should be made reasonably clear by statements or through background context.

Secondly, a 1-A level cannot be attained by a process in which the lower level quantitatively "adds up" to itself to break through into the higher one, due to the total lack of structural continuity between the two; the higher level cannot be attained, nor expressed by, any expansions of the lower one, and therefore things from the latter cannot interfere with the former by means of their own lower existences. Put simply: A non-1-A cannot reach the level of 1-A by appealing to another non-1-A
