It could be a stretch of my part, but I dare to say Umineko is probably the most famous anime verse of this wiki alongside Dragon Ball. The infamous 2021 downgrade thread was the most viewed thread on the history of this site and still is to this day. VSBW wouldn't be what it is today if it wasn't for 07th Expansion, so yeah, there's no chance they wouldn't bring this verse back.

I don't see it, a single downgrade thread from 5 years ago is not an indication of popularity. Nowadays you are hard-pressed to get people to answer in a revision thread. There are basically no Versus threads about Umineko, not even about weaker characters.
Umineko also has nowhere near the amount of threads about it compared to other popular shonen manga. Hell, our discussion thread barely get any interactions compare to other verses.

No and not even close in this wiki, many mainstream verse discussion have a lots of page (100+) while Umineko is not even 50. Also, that thread is popular because isn't it a downgrade from tier 0?

The verse is eventually going to return because I’m the one working on it, and I guarantee that it is going to return. I want to do a proper job, so I am not in a hurry. That is all.
Who cares whether the verse is popular or not in this wiki? I would honestly love for this verse not to be popular in the powerscaling community, unironically. But at this point, this is a cross we have to bear.

A downgrade thread from 5 years ago is, in fact, not a good indication of popularity on itself, but the fact that it is, still to this day, the most viewed thread on the wiki, surpassing threads from Naruto and Bleach, is something to think about.
Featherine's profile is also one of the most accessed profiles of the wiki daily, and has been like this since 2018. Yes, the amounts of messages about Umineko isn't nearly close to shounen verses, but Umineko still gets the same amount of profile visits as those, which is again something to think about.
I've might exagerated a bit, but unfortunately there is no doubt 07th Expansion is one of the faces of not only this site, but the powerscalling community as a whole.

No, it was a downgrade from tier 1-A. The infamous thread that put Umineko at 1-B, with only Featherine reaching 1-A. If I remember correctly (not so sure), it was also one of the threads with most messages in it.

If you go to content revision threads and filter them by views, that thread will be the first on the list.

I remember that thread being shared in a discord server I was in, with people talking about how Umineko got debunked and stuff. Obviously looking back it's outdated as hell, but regardless I think that thread is responsible for leaving a lasting impression on the community that the creator isn't real.
