I don't know how to start, but I was checking the page history of Honkai: Star Rail profiles and found several edits made by
@Enryu_The_Red_Tower in which a lot of P&A, resistances and statistics were added with no content revisions at all or were added under disguise… as in even the ones he left a link to didn't cover the changes he made.
I'll detail each vandalism within sections:
General Changes:
Low 2-C: Enryu
added Low 2-C (If you are struggling to see it, just scroll to the Attack potency section, you will see “'''Universe level+''' with Mem's Time Manipulation”) to
Trailblazer's profile + a whole new key and
linked a CRT in which there was no proposal for an upgrade to tier 2, nor did it have the other contents he added in the remembrance key, the CRT was solely about adding an accepted 3-C+ calculation and a multiplier to the scaling.
Acheron’s Immortality: Enryu added immortality 1, 2, 3 and regeneration to Acheron’s profile with no CRT attached. Nothing much to say here
Resistance to Imaginary Energy: I can comment better on this one because this involves one of my threads,
I made this thread to add a specific powers page to the verse, and as you can see at no point I proposed resistance to this P&A for any character,
Enryu added
several resistances to
every emanator (which includes a lot of controversial powers like conceptual, information, law manipulation) despite that and with a justification that doesn't have any scan.
Extraordinary Genius Intelligence: Enryu
changed the
rating of several
characters from
genius to
extraordinary genius
without any
CRT as
you can see in the links. All of these edits were pretty close to each other 14-18 of September with the exception of Dan Heng who had his profile edited on 25th January this year, and Hoolay on 22th november.
Now, I have to bring additional context as
Feixiao's profile was created on November 13th (a day before most of the changes) without any accepted crt already having EG in it, as Yanqing’s and Hoolay’s intelligence section mentions Feixian, one might think that this was a case where one character was already an extraordinary genius and the other profiles just needed an update, to begin with that would still require a crt as it affects several profiles and staff would still need to check if the scaling is valid. I will also argue that creating a profile with an unapproved rating and using that profile to upgrade others should still count as a violation of the site's rules, since this is no different from sneakily adding unapproved things to profiles while bypassing the need of content revision threads. Just imagine if someone created a tier 3 profile at the weekend and the next day went around upgrading several tier 4 characters to tier 3 based on that created profile, that obviously wouldn't be accepted. What's more, if you look closely, you'll see that even the scaling wasn't accepted either…
Hoolay’s profile was created on September 13th with no scaling to Yanqing and Yunli, it was only
added a week later where most of the faulty edits were made.
Aeon Physiology:
Starting on September 20th of last year,
Enryu began
adding several
layered resistances,
powers and justifications to the
Aeon physiology
page without
any approved
CRT and
with the
flawed reasoning
being assumptions
that they
must have
these resistances
or they “upscale” in blatant
disregard that upscaling doesn’t work like that in this wiki. A good chunk of these include notable powers like again conceptual, information manipulation and are smurf as you can see by the 12-D in the justifications. I did some investigation in the
threads and I found this where the supposed scaling was accepted but only GarrixianXD accepted the thread,
which isn’t enough for high-end abilities as those are required to have at least 2 votes if not three since these powers and resistances are tier 1, Garrixian was only thread moderator at the time too, and this ignoring how this thread was made in January this year, and most of the changes were made last year.
Just for documentation, I have reported behavior like this in the past, and there was also a
major vandalism report made by Garrixian too, so this is a consistent and major problem in this verse. If the staff deems the changes are uncalled for, I am willing to do all the editing necessary to remove them or preferably the supporters should make threads to get these accepted with proof.
