In the manga, in chapters 46 to 64, Moro is shown controlling the planet's magma to fight Goku and company, Goku withstood the magma at point blank range in his base form, then Vegeta is shown resisting the magma and Moro bury him with the magma and he will come out of there as if it had not been affected he, and yes, that was purely magma, so much so that we can see how Moro pulls it from under the ground and how it solidifies after coming to the surface, cooling and becoming rocks igneous, and in chapter 64 we have absolute proof that it really is magma, as Moro is seen burning himself when touching it and a magma pool
The resistance of Goku and company who scales with this will be around between 650 and 1200 ºC according to wikipédia
Agree: @GarrixianXD, @DarkDragonMedeus,@RenderGK,@BoastJr,@AwkguyDB,@Rez,@SamanPatou ( seems to agree), @Vietthai96,@Chariot190,@Killerdrone123,@Nierre,@Quantu,@Ebihara, @Damage3245 (seems to agree)

Disagree: @Entity

Wasn't Moro badly burned by that when it hit him directly? After MUI Goku kicked him into it?

I don't really see neither Goku nor Vegeta resisting it to be honest, they both are hurt by it and even Vegeta felt the need to avoid it. Just because he survived the avalanche, which quickly cooled down, doesn't mean he can resist it.

I agree with Heat resistance.

Btw is this relevent to the thread ? (Chapter 73 where Granolah pulls a Moro)

Goku was still struggling with the attack and needed to fall back.
Not dying instantly should no be considered a resistance.

Off topic but I believe this is why we need to index Resistance in varying degrees.

There are characters who can shrug off High Temperatures with no effort (even to the point of immunity) and characters like Base Goku who can tank short instances of Heat without being damaged (atleast by counting the words alone up to more then 6 seconds. Any ordinary person would not survived that long)

We are talking about heat resistance not scaling ap and dura, the fact that he was completely fine with no burn wounds of any kind should work.
Sometimes it's just inconstency of the art, because with that reason we can apply the same resistance to any elemental attack seen in the series that didn't leave any specific wound aside from the generic bruises they use to indicate damage.
I don't believe it's a case of Goku and Vegeta being hurt by the blunt force and not the heat, since literally nothing indicates that.
I believe there should be some evidence to a character actively having a form of resistance, either visually or thanks to textual references, but here there is none, just characters being visually hurt and having to dodge and escape the attack.

Anyway, now that I think of it, manga characters should have it anyway, since the Broly movie is canon and Goku (ssj blue) and Broly outright take a bath in lava during their fight. So, the resistance should be fine, but for other reasons, since they are clearly afraid and vulnerable to Moro's attacks.

Moro amped the attack, so Vegeta and Goku need to get out of it or else they will get hurt, hurt from AP, not from heat, isn't we forgetting that Moro can manipulate the energy of the planet to amp?
Looks fine to me.

What do you think of the suggestion above to work on this resistance on an even larger scale than that according to the comments above?

I still don't see anything telling AP and heat apart in any scan to be honest, that is simply pure headcanon.
And even in Granolah's case, his attack is clearly dangerous to Goku, who then retreats.

I mean aside from the fact that Goku was overtaken by it in one and completely pushing against it in the other? You can only say the difference between the two is that Granolah’s was solely based on his higher AP since Goku was not at all being affected by the magma itself but for Moro you can see him singed his clothing. Overall I think if we use the Broly movie feat we would have to come to the conclusion that Ki was the difference here since both users were stronger than Base Goku at both times.

Ah in granolah case Goku clearly mentions how granolah strength is of the charts after he tanked the attack controled by granolah so yeah it has to do with ap Goku has shown clear resistance to the lava part

Disagree, in the whole fight against Moro Vegeta tried to avoid each of Moro's lava attacks because they burnt him too much

then he has to use a ki blast in God form to stop a lava attack which has only the power of the planet: God forms planet level

Guys, you remember that the lava that Moro used was embedded with his ki, right? the purple electricity around the lava bursts is clearly visible in the colored version of the manga, you should take this into account

The purple electricity was a way to show the lava was controlled by Moro's magic, not his ki, he even says he will not get tired while using this technique because he was using ONLY the energy of the planet, the lava

Not dying instantly is resistance. If someone took minor burns from say 100000c heat, that's still resistance compared to a normal human.

A normal human isn't doing what Goku is doing there, their arms would be evaporated or charbroiled. Could you physically hold back magma with your bare hands for a relevant length of time? Of course not.

Remember, resistance, isn't immunity, it's just any merit above what is normally possible.

Then we can give Goku resistance to electricity because he wasn't killed by the multiple forms of electrocution he suffered from (on the ground by Buyon, airborne by Roshi and underwater by the pirate robot), although realistically he should have been killed, burnt or have suffered from huge repercussions.

If we let this slip, then we might as well give all characters resistance to anything even though they just survive, although fully suffering from the attacks.
I believe we keep resistances under some more scrutiny, or at least having some actual evidences, when the story and scene itself are meant to convey the opposite idea, of Goku and Vegeta being seriously threatened by both attacks.

I literally thought we already did? For the Pirate Robot I mean. The other two could just have bad electricity.

Depends to the degree of the thing they survived.

Someone surviving 300 degrees flames with major burns, ain't resistance, that's normal. Someone going ouch and being inconvienced by like 10000 flames, is resistance despite it effecting them because without resistance, they'd have been literally fried.

Being threatened, doesn't mean they do not resist it. Vegeta for example was literally buried under the lava. If he did not have resistance, he would have been nothing but a charbroiled black skeleton, he wasn't, he was just a lil scoffed.

Resistances is all about relativity to a base foundation. If someone took a dip in the core of the sun, and came out with like 2nd degree burns. They would be ****** up yeah, but they'd still have resistance to heat because some burns is better than being vaporized, which is what would have happened if they didn't have any.
