Since it's been a bit since someone entered a fighter, I decided to jump in and have selected the man who is called the Father of Muay Thai, a prisoner of war selected to fight in a tournament where he beat ten of the best Burmese fighters in a row without pause, a man whose indomitable spirit and never die attidtude are known across the country, Naï Khanom Tom

Isn't there only like one option for an Abrahamic deity?

I like how the chart has been updated.

You're allowed to pick from angels and demons for Abrahamic
The series threw in Beelzebub/Satan as a god, so hey you could probably submit any other angel or demon as a combatant as was said above.
Beelzebub is philistine and canaanite god along with being present in Abrahamic religion
I'm surprised peoples hasn't picked any of the demons from Ars Goetia (Bael, Astaroth, Asmodeus, or Paimon) or an fallen Angels (Samael or Lucifer) already

And fun fact: God Amun from Egyptian Myth, was converted into a demon of Ars Goetia called Aamon

Missed out on DBD new stuff

Semi related to the topic, but Dead by Daylight was what inspired me a few weeks ago to play Alan Wake due to Alan becoming a survivor in the game. And honestly? I ******* LOVE Alan Wake now...it's genuinely one of my horror franchises of all time as someone who especially loves the likes of HP Lovecraft and meta fiction, which Alan Wake certainly has in spades, and it even gave me the inspiration to play Control which is a severely underrated gem that is in desperate need of a sequel.

And to anyone who hasn't experienced it or isn't already a fan: I'd highly recommend the Alan Wake games, they're not the most mechanically complex titles out there but the sheer creativity and passion put into them is something I don't see often outside a few reputable companies and indie titles.

Can you play the second Alan Wake without going through the first game beforehand? Or should I start with the first properly?

Reminds me that Alone In The Dark is getting a remake released by the end of the month

NO. DO NOT DO THAT. Unless your definition of a fun time is being completely and utterly confused as to who's who, what's going on, and how everything that's going on is possible? I'd wholeheartedly demand you start with the first game, which is not a bad thing but the first game is going to lay down the groundwork for the sequel and everything else in between.

Now here's something else to bear in mind, while you can go from Alan Wake 1 to Alan Wake 2 without too much issues...there are two other games which are canon to the franchise that you should play before Alan Wake 2:

The first is Alan Wake: American Nightmare, which is a semi spin off that isn't 100% mandatory but it does take place directly between Alan Wake 1 and 2. And the second is Control, which is explicitly in the same universe as Alan Wake and one of the DLCs for the game is all about Alan Wake and what happened in the 13 years between games.

Ah, righto. Was wondering if the games were a continuous tightly knit story or each installment was a different adventure for the same protagonist following a greater narrative of sorts. Thanks for the heads up. Had no idea about the spinoffs either.

Damnit, I was gonna do Xolotl. Anyway, I have an Abrahamic deity to nominate, I suppose.
