General DC Comics Discussion Thread

Its WFs son Subjective reality warping Frankie

And the whole archive stuff is just multiversal
Earth 0 is referred as a form and the archive of worlds are the shadow, character from archive of worlds views inhabitants of earth 0 as a giant. There is a qualitative superiority between these two, given that the world archive is a film strip containing every frame of lower space over time from the perspective of Earth 0 humans. The question is, do we consider the archive of worlds are lower dimension? If so, then it doesn't qualify for tier 2. But if we consider the archive of worlds to be 4D or tier 2, that means Batman is 5D. Right?

Yo kirby, i found out darkseid is 1-A because of this plato stuff. Does this mean 1 universe is 1-A or what?
earth 0 is reality behind all realities
the supersedes reality, a form that creates shadow
all realities in archive worlds are just a cheap derivation of supersedes reality.
"working with these superseding version"
earth 0 is the superseded iterasion
archive world inhabitants views supersedes reality as bigger version
This mean darkseid is the bigger plato:ROFLMAO:

My opinions.

Sphere should be baseline High 1-A with stuff like CM1, IM2, plot hax, law manip, chaos manip, non duality type 2 at peak realms

It should be more than clear that obviously Earth-0 or any other regular universe does not quality for a 1A rating from what is shown in Batman / Superman. While terminology that makes an allusion to the allegory of the cave is used, this is not nearly enough evidence to provide a 1A rating as the worlds do not even obey the consistency of reality fiction transcendence in the first place. While the usage of the allegory of the cave has gotten 1A ratings for many characters and verses, this is obviously not one of them. Regardless it is not at all consistent with the entire history of DC comics.

It should be noted that truly proper depiction of The Forms grant them High-1A+ Type-1 ratings with The World of Forms itself being High-1A+ Type-2 and The Good / The One / The Absolute being tier 0. However, practically no verse in all of fiction depicts them in this way and are instead depicted as 1A. The depiction here is not even worthy of a quantitative (dimensional) transcendence let alone a qualitative transcendence.

So what is going on this story?: The realities within The Archive of Worlds are real universes (located elsewhere in the multiverse), the way by which they are accessed is through the film tapes. As such, The Archive of Worlds is basically just a strange portal room nothing more. The main feat from this arc is Superman performing an immeasurable lifting strength feat by directly interacting with and separating two realities. This needs to be moved from his AP section and placed in his lifting strength section.

In the last few months there have been an abundance of efforts to get Superman to 1-A. At this point bringing it up should get a temporary ban and users who continue to bring it up repeatedly after a temporary ban should just be ban outright as it wastes time deliberating the same topics over and over again.

If it's a CRT it should warrant a ban but this is a discussion thread where input from various people is needed. Note: Base Superman cannot reach tier 1A if one wants to provide an argument use the dematteis elseworlds stories. Hope l am clear.

Heavily disagree with this, literally what is the point of a discussion thread if simply bringing up a topic is considered ban worthy?

This sounds gatekeepey as hell and at worst is an attempt at censorship.

I’m not exactly a hardcore pusher for 1-A Superman either but like that’s nowhere near ban-worthy. As long as no threads are being constantly spammed and everyone’s civil there shouldn’t be any real issues.

I don’t exactly agree with Superman being 1-A but you can’t ban people just because they think Superman’s 1-A and wish to voice their opinions

Just make King Omega Darkseid and King Omega Superman 1-A/High 1-A and the problem is solved. Surely someone has a list of feats/statements/scailing to other characters like Spectre/SPB that can justify their placements into those tiers. I might be wrong though, I am new to this thread.

Although it is turning very tiresome to deal with at this point, so forbidding the topic might be reasonable. 🙏

Not permanently

Maybe a month or 3

IMHO while yeah it is a bit annoying its nothing ban worthy

Maybe a small break from the args for a set limit of time where those who bring it up... Will be shat on

It's fair to bring it up again after the time period agreed on

Here is a leak for the Eisner awards this year, but we will find out later today if the information is accurate.

I will mark the entries I know enough about to find very reasonable in bold text, and made a strikethrough for one that I disagree with, due to the author in question apparently being a misogynistic conceited piece of shit.

I don’t have an issue with King Omega Superman specifically being 1-A to High 1-A, but don’t we have rules on indexing one time power ups?

I didn't expect it to be like this, I even asked if the archive of worlds was even equivalent to 4D to be rated as tier 2, considering that earth 0 sees the archive reality like a very small and ephemeral film strip(fiction) and the archive inhabitant sees earth 0 as a form that supersedes its shadow's realities(mentioned repeatedly) inhabited by a godlike giant(bigger version). With two perspectives about each other (bigger one and lower one) I didn't immediately say it was an upgrade, instead the first thought, i thought maybe the archive of worlds was below 3d so it didn't fit to tier 2. Until I realized the difference between the 2 realities was analogized to plato's stuff that could give 1-A rating, then I asked it but i didn't make a revision thread, as well as the world forger stuff, where my focus wasn't on damaging world forger but on destruction feats which was equivalent to 1-A not just 2-A as previously considered, but I didn't immediately decide it, i just stopped at the discussion thread. like i said, I'm also lazy to make a revision thread.

But we better move on. In this comment, i just wanna say, i also think its not an upgrade or not even 3d spatial level feat👍🏻

This was my first thought, but it was because king omega is a new form so it can be applied to Superman's profile.
