UNDERTALE/DELTARUNE [shiny new] DISCUSSION THEAD

I highly recommend you to do some research on what the move does in Pokemon cause it IS sunlight.
^

Solar Beam is explicitly called light, it is weakened under weather conditions that block out the sun which only makes sense if it is sunlight, and it is strengthened under harsh sunlight which again, only makes sense if it is sunlight

PLEASE stop using whataboutisms yall

Dragons moves get stronger with dragon items thus sugest dragon energy is real energy in universe

Soo yeah draco meteor is not a "meteor"
Im not sure how to say this but I think you are genuinely just arguing dishonestly if you think a move with METEOR IN THE NAME that VISUALLY SUMMONS METEORS and is LITERALLY DESCRIBED AS CALLING DOWN METEORS actually doesn’t summon meteors

...It's been 15 years since the last time I was heavily into the Pokemon games, but even then it's common knowledge that Draco Meteor are indeed real meteors.

"Calling" is interesting word if combine with "summon" tho

Also it would be "infinte" energy thus brute energy that created the universe

What is with this whataboutism. Solar Beam is LITERALLY using sunlight. I am 99.999999% certain that is how it is described. The move is the Pokemon absorbing sunlight from the Sun itself and firing it. Blatantly lightspeed unless I’m missing context.
Yes...? That's the point?

Cause while that move (Blatantly Light Speed) exists, THESE moves also do.
There's a whole ass ability that counters them too.

what? The only universal creation in Pokemon are the Sinnoh legendaries making the world.
Okay explain why all three "dragon" that created reality have "dragon" energy

Swap dragon with infinite energy

And look how lower "dragons" also can use "infinite" energy too

Like you do realise all of them use the same source right ? Of course it different bettewen each one but it pretty much "creation" energy in brute force version.

Also look at the dragon Force Trivia.

Dragon veins (Chinese: 龍脈/龙脉) or dragon's lines/tracks are a concept in Feng Shui.[1] It refers to channels of energy flowing through mountain ranges.[2] They are underground channels of Qi.[3] According to some traditional religions, it is forbidden to destroy them, as this may cause negative consequences or disturbances.[1] It has developed a metaphorical meaning of any critical infrastructure in the modern day such as the Qinghai–Tibet railway.[4

I just realized that I don’t think anyone has tried to actually calculate the regular KE of Giga Queen’s baseball w/o fire speeds. Like yeah, we have rotational KE, but I wonder where the regular would end up. Plus, having a speed value for it would help determine an actual LS value for the low end…

Because Arceus made them that way

Give me a single statement that all dragon type moves use the same exact energy. Them being dragon type doesn’t count.

What is that

We should take this conversation here instead.

My bad I’ll stop. I apologize for the unnecessary spam and derailing.

Ok and? What are you trying to argue?
Charmander is planning to downgrade DR's FTL speeds because they struggle with sound, electricity and so on
Pokemon are rated as FTL despite struggling with sound and electricity. Like, basically all the time?

Yeah but that's an outlier on the narrative, the FTL they scale to is actually from a irrefutable light source. Unlike DR.

Let's take this to the Pokemon discussion thread pls. I once again apologize for derailing.

So because the ultimate weapon in kalos uses energy from xerneas or yveltal…this means all dragon type moves are made of the same energy???????
Yeah it also explain why fairy pokemon are immune dragons in gameplay.

Like fairy would use "infinite" energy for defence

It also explain why ice is effective against it too since it freezing the energy.

That just means JJK verse is lucky I don't read it.

I don't think any of the light speed moves are all that important to the narrative, like if anything Thunder is going to be wayyy more important considering a certain electric rat.
And like a super TV Remote's LED isn't a super unrealistic light-source either.

Already?? I thought it would be published tomorrow, or two days from now at the latest

I can't say I didn't see this coming from the moment all this was proposed after the chapters came out.

I'm not commenting on the thread. I've got nothing to say there and my vote doesn't matter. But, for the record, I agree with most of it
