UNDERTALE/DELTARUNE [shiny new] DISCUSSION THEAD

About Gerson stealing the items

Sinnce there seems to be a slow down effect (the item Susie trowns moves slowers & the sparkle in the cristal are slow), i think that the feat could be recalced using the slow motion method.

But, i'm not I'm not entirely sure how to calculate it. I've heard that I have to use the speed of a snail and then divide that by the character's speed (Susie) to get the time.

Wich would boost the feat to MHS

Does anyone know if that's the correct way to do it, or if it simply doesn't work?

Why are we automatically assuming it’s to this degree? If it’s just a regular slowdown then we should figure out just how much slower it’s playing out and apply that boost to the calc

The whole thing is kinda weird, since Gerson just disappears completely before reappearing. If we use the timeframe actually shown, it won't be impressive at all unless we're saying he just left to go drink a root beer and then came back or something

It light speed guys

He reacting to real light.

Now that we know that sans' durability negation is going to be targeted next, maybe some form of defense for it should be worked on preemptively? Idk, I don't really have too much stake in this.

If sans' dura negation does stay, maybe a blog or note explaining how it works and is applied in vs threads can be made one day? Since it's kinda confusing to newbies such as myself.

that is just a generic glowy sparkle. unless there r reliable statements that it is made of photons, I doubt it is actual light
the fact this star does not appear in the normal sprite of use of the item implied that is use of a item and it effects is instant
(At least from what i know)

Soo it probally light

using this logic every single generic sparkle created through the use of an item in fiction is light. that's not our standards, we need actual statements or feats of the sparkle being actual light, not just "ooh it looks like light"

We have ? They literally become energy for the lightners body to heal
They literally shine the same way whem we are using spells that use the soul
The whole mechanic of the soul is to produce light

Even some darkners do this too

It Sound like a normal thing in-universe too since we literally have the quote "Light of the mind" inside a dark world and whem applied to this verse would be the Soul power.

Do i have more ? Yes ! The fact they arent real food in any shape but just energy that can be literally appear inside a game.

energy=/=light
Yet you guys literally dont even look that system itself use Energy = light due eletrons
glowing=/=light
It not even the glow what i talking about The ******* trail left by the light object
y would this refer to actual light rather than like willpower
And what if equalize will power with natural light ? It not even impossible if we actually honest here due the element system itself where the increase synergy bettewen the element work like a wave

Do you guys think that if Toby saw our profiles, he would actually, y'know, agree with them at all, or would he just call them total bs?

On his main account? I don't think he'd say anything; from my point of view, Toby prefers to maintain a professional tone and not talk about the community at all.

On his UT/DT Lover 1225 account, however, I'd say he'd agree that UT/DT are stronger than IRL humans—to what extent, I don't know.
