Also, i saw y'all intercalating between the verbs "watching" and "reading" never "playing" iirc lol

Which media/adaptation y'all recommend the most for understanding the story?

And yeah this technically was done with a different character before
f* yeah, lovely

VN for both Higu and Umi. Manga a solid alternative though

Are Bern and Lambda just friend because their relationship is a parallel from SatoRika which isn't romantic relationship? (based on R07 interview)

They literally say they love each other multiple times in the novel, and there are even sexual undertones.

Ryukishi07 never denied that Satoko and Rika feel love for each other. He only said that their relationship is so complex that it cannot simply be encapsulated as just love, which makes sense, since they have been living together since they were little and both supported each other after losing their parents.

One of the most important themes of their relationship is precisely the codependency of each others.

They are from higher world of the witches, so their relationship if more incomprehensible compared to Satoko and Rika. I... can't remember everything from Sotsu (the latest it is) at this point, but SatoRika is ultimately about their friendship, and whatever love they share isn't romantic in nature.

In comparison, Lamda and Bern are probably become dull to what humans call emotions, and they are each other's link to that perhaps? The desire to kill one another and such. Maybe it is love, but imho its every emotion and in between, because they don't have ANYONE as their "equal", so they dump everything onto one another. They simply don't have anyone else.

That's just how I see it though.

What'd be your input, colleague? i was going to tag you and violatas in the question, but i forgor
Anime for Umineko is the worst way to enter it. For Higurashi it is more focused on gore than actually in the mystery, so I wouldn't recommend it either.

Manga is a good adaptation, with the obvious lack of content that a manga adaptation entails. Also, in Umineko, the manga is way more straightforward giving an answer than what the VN is.

If you have time, the VN is the best option imo, using the 07th mod for better experience. Though I should mention that the manga version of the 8th Episode of Umineko is a must watch after you've completed the VN, given it is really different to the VN and an "official answer" from Ryukishi to the mysteries that surround the plot of the series.

I elaborated a line with a bit of research (and i don't have the time @JustANormalPerson01 said it'd need lol), so that's that

Any problems?

For Higurashi you can watch this.

For Umineko, I think half of the Tsubasa manga isn't translated nor even scanned, so maybe playing the VN instead will be better.

And at least from memory I don't think you're missing anything.

For Higurashi you can watch this.
after trying to read this convoluted image for the manga, i'm doing this one 'cuz i don't like that "alternate timeline" type of storytelling

Don’t forget Forgery of Purple Logic.

The Meta-Being page is 90-95% done, I think. The only thing left to do is the formating of the Game Master Authority.

What are the additions/differences with the page from All Fiction Battles Wiki? This looks to be nearly identical to it, in which case, there are still abilities to be added, and things to be sorted first, as I'd assume the revisions that are under way would also plan to concern Meta-Beings

Both pages were created by the same person, so it's naturally that they will look alike. However, the biggest difference between AFB and this one is the addition of the Game Master Authority, which is a verse-specific power page of it's own.

The only reason there isn't a GMA in AFBW is because I have no time to add whatever is left to complete the page, though

Anyway, there is no problem. I am the creator of the page on AFBW and copy-pasted it here so it could be improved and things that were missing could be added. Though it has been a long time since I was able to edit it
