Terraria Discussion thread #2: Journey's end

I been looking back at the only class to be removed 'Throwing' and they really added yo-yos the same update along with an achievement for throwing a yo-yo and a yo-yo named red's throw and just made them melee weapons
 
I don't remember why i placed it there. Mybe there's a betterspot or something
 
I wonder if we should open a thread in the wiki page collaboration forum to work on making a revised version of the Terrarian profile it seems rather incomplete and outdated as well as a task bigger than one person should handle on their own.
 
I mean ya do have this discussion thread why not just handle it here with the supporters. I mean doesn't seem like anyone decided to exact chat about handling a major overhaul like that considering its been months since this chat was used

Just bring the supporters into things here to handle it
 
I feel like it would be a bit much to try to shove it in here. I'll bring up a few things that I would bring up for consideration as powers that they have without items.
Immortality type 4 (low godly resurrection) and creation based on the existence of the graveyard biome which requires multiple tomestones that normally can only be created on their death and the nurse keeps track of how many times you die. Low Godly comes from coming back from not rematerializing after trying to teleport.

Limited purification can deactivate buffs effecting them.

Magic they possess a limited supply of regenerating mana that they can use to power magic weapons.

Disease resistance can survive and recover from the feral bite which is implied to be rabies due to its association with bats, internal name literally being rabies, and the bestiary saying cave bats one of the sources of the debuff often carry diseases such as rabies.

Summoning can cause a wooden minecart to appear so they can ride minecart rails even without having a minecart on their person. Falling stars seem to be considered the Terrarian's doing as damage they deal is attributed to players registering on the dps meter, tally counter, getting banners which is different from lava and traps. They are also more likely to fall near and towards the player in expert mode and above.
 
So like, is anyone gonna do anything about the thread attempting for FTL and above tier 5 ratings?
 
Does anyone know if Chlorophyte's glow is instantaneous? The description says it glows when exposed to light. If the Terrarian moves even the slightest bit before the Chlorophyte glows, wouldn't that be calculable in relation to the speed of light?

Technically the gastropod beams are said to be beams of light so we could calc speed off that.

Did anything come of people trying to upgrade the Terrarian and Moonlord to tier 3? It seemed like people generally agreed with the arguments.

I just hope the tier upgrades could be put into affect in general. Any changes would be nice, really, especially considering that some of the Terraria profiles have information that has been outdated since the 1.1 update, which was 15 years ago.
 
Could we upgrade the Terrarian's LS via the encumbering stone, which implies they are affected by the weight of the items in their inventory?

Was it just formatting? If so, as far as I remember, it doesn't need a CRT.

Just make a post in this thread saying something like "I formatted these profiles [link to profiles], here's the sandbox, can I apply it?"

It seems you all like the reworks but there is one thing I am uncertain about The Destroyer will chase players across the entire world which means it can track them across the entire world what do I give them for that.
 
Fandom doesn't even let me link the official wiki how am to acquire scans for Skeletron Prime being immune to to debuffs from prehardmode weapons

Do I have to record all debuffs not working for The Destroyer or can I just use a clip of someone explaining it is immune to all debuffs.
 
Okay so The Destroyer is apparently immune to the Life Drain effect of Life Drain the thing is Lifesteal from Vampire Knives however several things immune to Lifesteal aren't immune to the Life Drain effect.

You'd need actual scans yourself not just someone's explanation, stuff like that isn't allowed as a valid scan
