Was Centichoro unharmed, or did he scream in pain ? Not gonna lie, some scaling lines from the S classes do seem a bit weird, at least how they are currently written

Yeah, I have so many problems with the profiles. Right now they're geared to try and scale as many characters as possible from Elder Centipede; despite Elder Centipede being one of the toughest monsters.

Sure, but that's why I don't think the approach of just substituing values without considering how they would impact the characters is the best approach. It's not a dig at you specifically.
 
There's a time and a place. I don’t think I need to explain why a thread doesn’t need to include a sandbox containing what is essentially a full verse/scaling revamp when the OP specifically states that it’s just a follow-up to a simple calculated size update.
 
It's appealing to try and do revisions one part as a time, I'm not faulting you for that. But it does end up with using having to do even more subsequent threads. There's pros and cons of both methods of revisions.
 
Having different threads for different topics makes sense in a case like this, especially when both involve major changes that each require their own discussion. The last thread by itself was 5 pages long and took several months to finish, after all.
 
If you guys trust me to tackle the scaling, I could do the revamp, although I'd be more demanding then mere rewriting, as the very source of High 6-C scaling is looking suspicious

Unironically both. A full-body barrage took him off-guard and he yelled out due to... yknow, missiles tend to cause some pain, but it failed to damage his carapace.

Missiles should probably not be scaling to him, though they seem to be scaling to Metal Bat.
 
Thank you to Recon for commenting on the Amai Mask CRT, but we need more input. Are there any other mods active in this thread these days who could weigh in on the CRT so we can wrap that up?

No but it is genuinely crazy how episode 6 triumphed all of our expectations and was genuinely such bottom of the barrel slop garbage that it's actually one of the worst rated anime episodes of all time. How did we fall so far.

I get more entertainment watching AI joke compilation short vids on YouTube than watching OPM season 3, golly...

Eh I doubt we will get a Season 4. Episode 7 is literally non stop action with various heroes showing off their skills. The show breaks apart just dealing with fights that have 2 characters. This is going to be multi character fight with some shots have 4+ characters fighting.

It's going to be gloriously bad.

True, the Monster Association arc is so ridiculously large in scale that I genuinely can't fathom these guys even making any attempt to animate it properly. They already cut out half of Evil Eye's entrance.

The idea of these guys actually trying to pull off Tatsumaki Vs. Psykorochi makes me giggle. To be clear I don't hate the animators, those poor guys are basically slaves atp serving the corporate mass that pays them (relative to the work put in) nickels to produce what they can, just for many of the fans of the IP being ruined to hate on THEM instead of the producers themselves. Animators don't have it easy, sad as it is.
 
I know but there is nothing we can do. It's a TV anime and most of their revenue is from Japan. It's not a game we can force to push back or update nor is it a movie which had a atrocious trailer we can be upset at and delay. Bandai doesn't even earn all that much from anime, it earns from merchandise.

It's here and you can either ignore it's sorry existence or have fun at it's expense. As much as I wanted to see a good anime, I can't say the drama hasn't been entertaining, more so than the season itself.

The Director clearly is both lacking resources and out of his field. He was hired solely due to how fast he storyboards, not the quality of his work. It is a problem with the industry itself. Japan's shitty work culture is amplified further by lack of unionization in the anime industry and the influx of people wanting the job.

JC Staff itself has a very flawed model of throwing a bunch of shit at a wall and seeing what sticks
 
Was that lighting 3d ? On the desk scene. Like laying out the scene to see how light would go for reference. Because it really feels like it.
