Tbh half those characters aren't even "iconic" they're just popular, I feel like whoever made that list doesn't actually know what the word means.

Puri Puri Prisoner is listed as High 6-C durability with Bristle Armor
Then Nyan is listed as High 6-C for harming Bristle Armor Puri I think ?
Then Drive Knight is High 6-C for defeating Nyan
Then Jet Psykos is High 6-C for clashing with Promoted Hook
Thing is, why is Puri's Bristle Armor High 6-C ? There's no justification on his profile

Probably based on Garou, where he attacks PPM after waking up. He uses his Bristle Armor there. While injured, he still stayed conscious and was resisting a little etc.

Being iconic means being an icon of something. Goku is iconic because of his role and popularity in the anime medium and industry, bringing anime into the mainstream of global media and representing a whole genre of it. That's what it means to be iconic when referring to a popular person or IP. Joseph Joestar is a popular and beloved character, but I can't really see him as iconic. JoJo's as a franchise is fairly iconic though. Tanjiro is in a similar boat to me. Saitama may be iconic due to his uniqueness and how he popularized a genre of anime in a time where most anime had become stale or unoriginal. Being popular or unique isn't enough to be iconic. It's more layered and nuanced than that.

I just hope ONE and Murata expand the interactions between Suiryu and the S-Class to the Neo Heroes, because their interaction in the webcomic feels so shallow.

big fan of murata here and finished eyeshield 21, one of my fav sport mediums! murata listed akira as his inspiration many times in his afterwords during his eyeshield 21 days ... i cant wait anymore!

Episode 3. Is it an improvement ? Yes. Is the improvement circumstantial. Yes.
Since the Garou fight was already animated a year ago, this did take off a lot of pressure from this episode.
The starting sequence with Genus and Zombieman talking is not stiff. Although the direction is still bad as the scenes being 1:1 with the manga makes you feel like characters are teleporting in poses.
We get back to the Garou fight after the end of the teaser cut and the fight ends instantly. A lot of talking, far less janky than ep1 but still janky and get used to that for this season.
Gale wind vs Hell fire was well. It's like asking would you rather take a hammer to the toe or the pinky.
We get movement, but the drawing quality goes on par with Goku vs Golden Frieza, the anime version.
But it moves and this season, one may count their blessings.
Then we go again to the Saitama stuff and it's back to being janky and Saitama teleporting into his clothes.
