Don't really know if this would work well for the elephant. The elephant has his smarts but his LS isn't gonna do much and he'd have to outtackle the T-rex first.
Elephant doesn't have an exact speed advantage but rather he can have a speed burst that would let him outrun the T-rex.

Additionally I think the pages are a bit outdated since the AP calc for the t-rex relies on his lower speed estimates whilst the higher ones would put him at higher AP, not to mention there's been different assumptions about the weight lately, placing them higher than previously assumed.

I would go incon here. Elephants don't use smarts too much in combat they just rampage from what i've seen so it'd be 2 angry monsters charging at each other with intent to kill and it all depends on who lands the first hits and where. If the elephant lands a tusk blow to a weak point the t-rex could go down but if the T-rex manages to get a bite on his trunk or face or neck he could do massive, possibly lethal damage.

Overall: i'd recommend revising the t-rex and if not then I vote incon.

i am going with trex because he would have predator instincts which are superior to combat intelligence of elephants (their CI involves rampaging)

I think most real world pages need revising tbh, but I have counted you for incon for now.

Voting for the T.rex. Many studies even appoints to it being far larger and that he was smarter than what many people thought. I also don't think any elephant is surviving a bite THAT strong, let alone from a predator it has never encountered before nor has any experience against. Also, more recent studies indicate that it was even heavier than an elephant.

T.rexes are also known to hunt and kill and even completely decapitate Triceratops, a 6 to 10 ton behemoth and that thing is bigger than an elephant and it's horns even more deadly. Even their walking speed isn't that far from an elephant's.

Dude, I'm going to vote for the T-rex; it wins with a certain degree of confidence.

Anyone who follows this kind of topic knows that the T-rex wins this; there have been many buffs through in-depth studies for the T-rex in recent years.

There have been discussions with scientific data about the chances of a T-rex beating a Palaeoloxodon in a one-on-one fight, with mixed conclusions. The Palaeoloxodon is simply the strongest elephant in history, being much better at handling a T-rex than a modern elephant.

Very interesting. I see Pala having the great edge seeing the incredible mass and size difference .. I see trex winning stealth and mobility only ngl. Other from that, Trex takes this one FRA
