Talking about earlier movies. Technically Blue Beetle is the first DCU movie. As it is canon to DCU. Meaning a Green lantern damaged the Beetle, said Beetle tanked it's own Brown Dwarf star level attack. Superman is stronger than Guy, a green lantern.

Thus, henceforth proven Superman > Brown Dwarf level

Blue Beetle is light canon and we have no clue if that scene specifically will carry over into the fully canon dcu animated series that picks up from where the film ends

I don't think we won't see Oa atleast once in a green lantern series. Maybe more of that Dimensional Imp stuff. Like creatures from Space or other Dimensions.

Apparently this superman has fought Metallo before and they had kryptonite back then since he was equiped with is kryptonite core. But during the events of the movie there is apparently no more left, I wonder how that happened.. They had to use Metamorpho to produce it.

Also I wonder if Superman knows about the other heroes besides the justice gang. I can see Guy ignoring Batman but Flash seems like he would join. So I guess Flash isn't here yet.

I want to know how tf does Kryptonite even end up on Earth anyway. Krypton is light years away. Say whatever about BVS I do love the idea of Kyptonite being present on earth due to the World Engine. Makes perfect sense.

Also Abosulte Superman has the most horrifying version of Kryptonite.

No one said its not canon, its very explicitly stated to be "light canon" and that they will use what they want from it, we know the animated series will pick back up from where the movie left off but that it will be adjusted to fit into the framework of the DCU

Blue Beetle plucked from his own universe and dropped into that of the DCU. This would allow Jaime Reyes's integral story to remain without necessarily canonizing every part of his solo film in the DCU itself.

Watched the superman movie in cinema today and ngl it genuinely is better in quality than the stuff that was put out in DCEU in every way.
Even though this superman is shown to be more vulnerable as compared to Cavil's superman, he may actually be stronger due to some feats he displayed.
I had 2 questions regarding that,

1. Where would his feat of him blowing himself out of black hole scale? Does that fully scale him to a black hole since he kinda is opposing the force of it or nah?
2. Do we consider Luthor's pocket universe 3-A or maybe even Low 2-C? I know pocket dimensions and realms don't scale that high by default but this one is called a universe and on the universe page of vsbw its said that if a pocket dimension is stated to be a universe, its treated as one. So does that also apply here?

It doesn't scale anywhere its not even a real feat tbh, the black hole was gonna kill him and they weren't too close to it either to even be exposed to any of the actual dangerous effects outside of some pull. Didn't come close to crossing the accretion disk or event horizon either

That's for fusion which I already looked into and was shot down but otherwise no that's not the case that value is unusable and any also the calc I did was for luminosity which requires you take into account stefan-boltzmann law which tanks it down to either tier 9 or low tier 8

Well I suppose I could use that temp since the temperature of it would be that high to fuse them at least to begin with I don't have the lower that just because I couldn't use the fusion calc anymore

oh wait this was about slamming this movie Superman? that's wild genuinely ofc they mog him but nah I do imagine better feats as we move forward but even so starting with 8-B+ and several High 8-C support feats with consistently good speed and LS is fine by me

Ig for reference from other live action Superman's debuts he isn't far off from the lower end stuff the others have in their debuts
Superman and Lois episode 1 of S1 started with 8-A, Class G, and MHS+ feats
Man of Steel was 7-C+ to high 6-A, Sub-Rel to Rel+, and Class K to Z
Smallville was like 9-B, Subsonic ~ Supersonic, and Peak Human in its debut

so I mean ya know its all about presentation, I don't mind a tier 8 Superman but I don't see any reason why he can't get any higher as things move forward (he already has scaling metas that are above the 8-B+ in this movie)

After watching Superman for a second time, I am confident in the belief that the black hole feat is indicative of nothing but Superman and the rest being a safe distance away. He could barely fly by this point in the movie. Also, the proton river was less effective than acid and Mister Terrific's t-spheres at harming the Raptors. It's all a bunch of nothing.

The power creep is going to be insane once this universe really gets going, especially if Ultraman comes back as Bizarro. That aside, I need for Conner to be a thing eventually. The Death of Superman should be after like a 2nd Justice League film, but I need the best member of the Superman family as soon as possible.

Makes sense Luthor's reputation is ruined so a rebranding is a necessity.

With his reputation ruined and now a criminal, we can expect a full blown supervillain. Hopefully we get to see his suit soon.

I don't want DC's first big bad to be one guy. Legion of Doom would be great. Lex, Bane, Grodd, Sinestro, Cheetah and Black Manta.

After that we can go for Anti monitor, Darkseid and other cosmic villains.
