man, the excuse of Retcon does not work here, because HOW THE **** DOES VEGETA HAVE SUPER SAIYAN 3 and he never uses it in all of the fights he has???you know where it could be good to use it?against trunks, but no, apparently Vegeta never has it in super, but now he has it on Daima...don't make me talk about SSJ4, man that is even worst.

man, stop saying that we can't call him out for being wrong, Authors are humans, like any other person is, they can be wrong, and saying they are wrong is not a bad thing, in this case, Toriyama is wrong for saying it is canon...at the same time, screws it very much.
 
The author cannot be wrong as to what is canon to their own work.

This isn’t Toriyama saying “Goku can defeat Beerus”, it Toriyama saying he put more effort into Daima than (at the very least) recent Super content.

If Toriyama’s involvement is a metric of canonicity, Daima is more canon than Super.

It is primary canon whether you like it or not and “retcons” is not an excuse, it is a fact.

I dunno who the **** said that, especially considering Toriyama authored Neko Majin, produced the original draft for the Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return!! OVA, was heavily involved in rewriting the screenplay for the Battle of Gods film, and directly supervised every individual story element of Dragon Ball Online.

NO, is not that the problem, the problem is that SSJ4 is canon, but it is never used, mentioned, or anything, in Dragon ball super, if they use it there and then say it always has them, it will double the fact that this series is really bad in its story.

IS A EXCUSE IF IT CONTRADICTS BASICALLY MANY THINGS.
why does vegeta never use the form?why Goku never uses ssj4?why did he say it was "his final transformation"reffering to ssj3 when he already had the fourth one, why is kibito and Nahare fused again?why no one brings up the demon realm in their flashbacks?(this is more understandable but again)

man no, it does not, i don't even care about that, i care about this because it is something so vital for the story, its lore, more than Goku having transformations...but if you are going to bring a transformation you never use it in almost all the series...to this?man that must be some mediocre thing

What else did I say? Basically, I said that this series is mediocre, which it is, and all the jokes about "Father Ball" or "Dragon Ball, the best shonen in history" are just that, pure memes and jokes, the series is on its core, at best, mediocre going to good, at worst?mediocre going to bad.

Oh I thought we were just asserting things. And if we aren’t, it’s success speaks for itself. And even if it didn’t (which it does), your opinion wouldn’t actually change how good it is or isn’t.
And as for why I think it’s good, I like the fights, I like the techniques, the forms, many of the villains, I like the main character, I like the supporting cast, and I like the hype moments like Gohan ssj2 vs cell, God goku vs beerus, or anything involving gogeta.

It is a argument you could make yeah. But still, Super have the benefit of still be ongoing, since Daima just ended.
 
New headcannon, Vegeta now has ptsd from the number 3 and won't name his ssj5 "Ultra Vegeta 3", but something else
 
I'm not going to lie: I'm a bit disappointed that Super Saiyan 4 was something that Goku obtained between the end of Buu Saga and the start of Daima instead of it being something obtained by Neva's magic. Because I had this little head canon theory that canon Super Saiyan 4 was basically the Saiyan equivalent to Piccolo's Orange form.

I don't know, I thought it would've been neat to have this concept where Namekian magic, or the usage of the Dragon Balls, can allow a race to go beyond the limits of their species and obtain a form which acts as like the pinnacle of that potential. But I guess Super Saiyan 4 being something obtained through training isn't too bad either.
 
My opinions on Daima haven't changed, still think its largely good, but I definitely think it would greatly benefit from a season 2 to explain shit, explore shit, and actually do something with the fusion bugs.
