That's the thing about it though
I was there weekly and it was NOT being received well at all
And I'm not even talking about the anime with the filler
The Kabuto section of the arc was so hated which is insane to me and people were constantly calling out "plotholes" that didn't exist cause they couldn't read or simply didn't like some writing decisions that they took upon themselves to call plotholes
Weekly is just not for everybody frankly and if you find yourself defending an ongoing series that's heavily "criticized" online you'll be called everything but a child of God for simply thinking differently
You gotta really love a series and not be tuned to negativity to really enjoy something coming out weekly/monthly

I'd be disappointed
Cool for powerscaling but boring for the story
He was able to give Isshiki's single eye two whole abilities, whether that was to make up for him only having one eye instead of a pair as usual or not, I'm excited to see what he can cook for Sarada
I'm also really glad he kept the design that Kishimoto made almost 10 years ago

People also freaked out over Edo Tensei and "bringing dead characters back to life", though I consider Kishimoto's use of Edo Tensei to be one of his greatest writing decisions in Shippuden to resolve characters, further the plot and create some great developments.

Also, are we in agreement that “all” the Shinju don’t physically scale to Tier 5? Because SM Mitsuki bullied Ryu Physically and Chidori “is” Piercing Damage afterall… Might be copium but I do want to debate it vs just giving them blanket Tier 5.

Ryu would probably be tier 5 via Iron Sand for making short work of Code, but even that's suspect, considering Araya seems able to deal with it.

It's Ikemoto's choreography that holds it back
At the start of Boruto it was better but its gotten meh/bad at times
With the plot being expanded though, its always a good time but it can't ALL be cool exposition/lore drop
I think whats worse than a fight chapter is a build up chapter with no new information or funny interactions.

Well, the Sword is a hard counter to Iron Sand, so I don’t think there is a problem there, but I definitely agree with him scaling to Tier 5 with Iron Sand. (Had to specify, lol)

There is a version made by Arc (considering lightning speed for Raikage and a minimal movement for Naruto, MHS+ result) And there is an accepted version for game profiles (considering a maximum movement for Naruto, FTL result)You can find the FTL calc in the calculations section on the Verse page.

If we use the Kirin speed statement (0.016c) which is for normal CTG lightning and Raikage is faster than lightning speed attacks,
KCM1 Naruto would be 1.3c

We also included a car, but the person in charge said, "You can't have that much fun," so it was scrapped. We also scrapped the gun because it would have made the shuriken meaningless.

That is a valid speed we have been ignoring so far and I don't know why. We know that the Raikage speed for his fastest punch should not be slower than Kakashi moving to intercept lightning.

No, using Kakashi is bad, we don’t want calc stacks
A better way to scale is that kakuzus attacks are lightning [stated as lightning + accepted as lightning speed due to consistency with lightning properties]
Raikage is the fastest shinobi and would be above everything shown before in the story except for Minato
use that and then Naruto being 78x faster and boom ftl speeds yet again
There’s honestly so many ways to get kcm1 tiers into ftl I just don’t have the motivation to work on those

Yes. From what I can tell Araya definitely isn't Tier 5.
Also, agree with Ryu not being physically Tier 5 yet. But LIKELY Tier 5 with Iron Sand. All he did was lift Code, he didn't attack him. He asked Jura if he could kill him next time and Jura said sure, so it's a likelihood that he's able to. If he had a profile I'd be for a likely rating.
Which means..... maybe no Tier 5 Mitsuki yet..
As for Hidari, his dura feats are blocking attacks from Base Kawaki, and Sarada... who are Tier 6, and he has no physical feats outside of Raiton. But at the same time, Boruto clearly felt threatened by him (and the rest of the Shinju, WHICH IS IMPORTANT). Unlike Ryu, it would be weird if Hidari was Tier 6 and only Tier 5 with Chidori, bc Boruto should be able to make quick work of him tbh, especially considering he doesn't have the Sharingan to assist him with Chidori. Although...... Boruto was able to slice through his Wood hand like it was nothing... and Rasengan into him like it was nothing.....

i don't think Boruto has never done one on his own, Naruto made one in his hand during the Momoshiki Arc and IIRC helped him make one in the Urashiki arc, and Momo possessing Boruto's body made one.
Boruto's never even made an Odama (Giant) Rasengan let alone a Massive one.
Pre-Timeskip He even tried to have Kakashi teach him how to use the weaker Giant Rasengan in the anime and Kakashi flat-out said you don't have the chakra reserves for that one chief.

Konohamaru didn't do a single thing the whole chapter but sit there. Very disappointing pacing for a monthly series.

Wasn't Code desperately thrashing to get out of the Iron Sand's grip though? I think that's probably enough for a solid rating for th Iron Sand.

Based on what we know so far from TBV, your durability does not always scale to your attacks, we have people like Code tanking the initial impact of Uzuhiko while Hidari is getting his shoulder blown off from a base Rasengan. Honestly, so far I hate how Ikemoto has been writing the Shinju’s brain-dead power scaling.

So whatever feats he shows vs Boruto shouldn't be used for powerscaling without further context
