I'm gonna start tweaking over the cour 4 wait

Finale was absolutely peak. Uryu continues to be my favorite character in the series, Askin v. Yoruichi and Yushiro was really cool, as was Gerard completely flattening the Shinigami (Soi-Fon not even getting to fire her Bankai, it’s rough out here being a fan 
)

I watched the new episode in dub. I was kinda afraid they would butcher it, but damn they cooked in that recording booth, especially Lille Barro's VA, he deadass was better than the JP voice.

Yhwach was trying to merge the realms, and Mimihagi was stopping the shaking and the worlds from colliding. Yhwach destroyed the Mimihagi tree but not Mimihagi itself who just before episode 40 ended started to manifest in Ukitake’s body. The huge halo thing shaped in Ukitake’s back before the credits rolled.

Few thoughts from the finale:
- Man the art direction looked beautiful, honestly that’s a praise that goes through the entire cour, but I can’t say enough how good it looks, to quote MrTommo they just lift Kubo’s art from the page onto the screen and that’s awesome
- The soundtrack was banging as well, I’ve always been a Sagisu fan, but he keeps dropping bangers, any time the Quincy OSTs were playing I was vibing
- All the extra Ishida family scenes were great, Ryuken and Uryu parallels on point especially with the graveyard scenes, but my favorite was the extended Uryu flashback with Souken, “on our honor as Quincy we MUST protect this world” gave me chills
- The implicit promise of more Soul King lore to come with Jushiro/Mimihagi tease at the end and Rangiku looking at Gerard has me frothing for the new content
- All the fight choreography look so good, so glad Gerard is 2D, both his and Askin’s start of the fights looked great
- The voice actors really elevated the anime for me, I didn’t expect to be so consistently blown back by their performances this cour, but it might be my favorite part of the anime so far, you can really feel the love they put into the show through their performances which is awesome
- Random aside, I really like the smooth transition of zooming out from Yhwach to the Wahrwelt to the ending graphic lol
- The only thing I can fault the finale for is it being set up for cour 4 making the wait that much more excruciating lol, Bleach fans ate good this cour, by a long shot this is the best cour of the TYBW anime and I can’t wait for cour 4 to be even better
- More SK lore on Adyneus himself as well as his corpse parts
- What’s up with Renji and his pseudo fused with Zanpakuto Bankai, in fact it’d be great to explore the concepts of transcendence and fusing with your Zanpakuto more
- Extended fights for all the final fights, don’t leave any character in the dust (Fullbringers, Chad, Isshin and Ryuken, etc)
- More expansion on Quincy history in general (why was Souken banished explicitly, what was Yhwach and Adyneus’s relationship like)
- Perhaps some more original sin lore too, we got teased with brief Soul King flashbacks, but seeing more from that era would be awesome
- Aizen’s Bankai ability, I know he’s transcended beyond that but I still want to see it even if I have a pretty solid grasp on what I believe it is
- And my Hail Mary is more Hell arc implications and foreshadowing

It’s super crazy for me, Bleach has been with me throughout my entire formative years, from the awkward times of middle school through becoming an adult and having to pay the bills lol. Truly a once in a life time experience I’ve had with this series. Got a big man feelin sentimental

Yeah, I've been a fan of Bleach for a good chunk of my life as well, so it's great to see it still going to this day. I hope that Kubo can have a healthy future, and can express his ideas with future works.

I also have been a Bleach Fan for half my life at this point(I started seeing it in 2011 when I was a 10 y.o little rag, and now I'm 23 y.o), and I really happy to see how far we've got with the anime up to this point. If you told me 6 years ago we'd see all of the TYBW adapted with this quality and love to the series, I would tell you are just a liar or delusional.
Sometimes it brings a little tears to think next year will be the last of Bleach we will see for some time, and possibly it'll be a great love letter from Kubo and Pierrot's staff to all of us fans.

I'm a bit later in life. I started pre-covid 2020 in high school. Come the TYBW anime, I was stunned when I saw the finer details in the story and further related to Ichigo. Bleach had also gave me growth as a writer, it gave me a drive further into my own project. Although those years were later, they were developmentally significant, so many things about me would be different had I not watched it at all.
I couldn't be more thankful to Kubo and the staff for making such a masterpiece in motion.

Btw I know bleach characters are invulnerable unless you can target their souls. But could dura neg attacks still effect them like biology manip, spatial manip and etc?
