So uhh... Yeah, may as well try this. Beerus is 2-C, with around 6 universes in power. Beerus' Existence Erasure is a layered Existence Erasure that can affect characters with High-Godly regeneration, at least that's what his profile is implying. It comes packaged with Causality Manipulation, which... I mean the Devourer is acausal, so ehh??

The Devourer... His power is a bit more difficult to assess. He is definitely 2 universes, but could be higher depending on how the arcade cabinet worlds and the glitch worlds are viewed. At the same time, Devourer's regeneration is higher-dimensional, which CAN be a problem depending on how people wanna see it. Sure, Beerus can erase history and space-time, but like, so can the Devourer as far as I'm aware. I mean did the party really remember each other going through a bunch of shit prior to EBF5 at any point in EBF5? The Devourer's EE, too, is layered (See Here).

From what I can tell, I think Beerus would be faster on the draw than the Devourer. Beerus can simply point at the Devourer and say "Hakai" and that would be that. The Devourer's EE is done one of two ways: a handwave (which is done during the final boss fight) and Giga Doomsday (which not only erases the multiverse, but also closes the game when the Devourer is summoned). I think Giga Doomsday is one layer higher than the Existence Erasure tactic used in the final boss fight since it outright ignored the party's resistance to both the Cosmic Gigalith's EE and the Devourer's handwave EE tactic.

Plot, Law, Fate, and Dimensional Hax is something Beerus wouldn't necessarily be able to handle.

So basically, we have a character with 1-layer EE against High-Godly who also resists that same 1-layer EE (there is no dimensional tag there, so uhh...) vs a character with 2-layer EE with higher-dimensional regeneration and some serious hax.

Gonna equalize speed because there's no way in HFIL that the Devourer can do anything about Beerus otherwise. Beerus is apparently so fast that light would be a stalactite compared to him!

Here are the profiles:

Who takes this?

Beerus: 0
The Devourer: 0
Inconclusive: 0

Pretty sure the Devourer stomps since its Plot/Fate Manipulation is passive.

Not sure on what planet actively switching the roles of characters (which would make an ability active, not passive) would be considered passive, but k.

While most of us will think of Beerus landing a Hakai first, does The Devourer have anything to keep himself from just getting sealed up like Beerus did to Old Kai?

Alexa- play Second Warning

Anyways
The Devourer should easily take this, no? Fate/Plot Manip are passive (Psycho would have to explain better, something about swapping roles around and whatnot), but in any case
Depending on what key is used (is it in simulation or out of the simulation?), the Dev is either going to see how powerful Beerus is, determine him as an immediate threat to his control, wave his little tentacle, and erase Beerus, and if that doesnt work somehow, Giga-Doomsday and end the simulation right there. Dev is fine (because it's done this several times before)

If he's out of the simulation?
How the hell is Beerus doing anything? If he cant interact with the Dev because of HDE, then the Dev is free to just toy with Beerus- or do as i said above

gonna have to vote eldritch horror on this one

This is first key Devourer, but apparently he has higher-dimensional bits in both keys (dimensional manip in first key, HDE in second), plus in the game itself, The Devourer became a higher-dimensional being as soon as he is defeated, so... Ehhh????

Still, with the Plot/Fate/Law stuff, the Devourer could simply give Beerus a "lower role" within the story (like what the Dev did with all the previous other bosses), before simply erasing him from it with EE, and then Giga Doomsday if that doesnt work. Pretty simple, really

Anyways yeah im voting Devourer

Beerus is immune to Low 1-C plot hax

Hm. Thank you coming in Koopa. Would you be able to assess who might win as well? Im leaning Devourer, havent heard many decent points for Beerus as of yet

her toon and gag powers comes from her plothax, Arale could do nothing against Beerus, not even plot can destroy Arale yet Beerus can kill her, plot hax aint working against beerus
Is there a crt where Beerus resisting Arale Plot hax is accepted?

Okay, so I can come up with one thing for Beerus.

I haven't seen the idea of Beerus affecting beings with HDE being backed yet. The way I see it, i think it has to do with the fact that if two Gods of Destruction were to fight against one another, they would destroy their respective universes regardless of where in the multiverse they are. That alone would give it 4D reach.

We currently have 2-C as a minimum for 4D stuff.

I looked into Arale's Profile and... Yeah, if we were to include all of Arale's shit in there and not just the one footnote in Beerus' profile, then by extension this would leave Devourer with only EE as a wincon. Which... 2 layers vs 1 layer is still a gap Beerus has to worry about.

I find it a little funny that the argument started with it being a stomp in Devourer's favor and ended with things leaning towards a possible stomp in Beerus' favor.

Tbf here, cast aside the argument that Beerus resist plot hax from Arale, what is this suppose "lower role" from Devourer plot hax do?, we need specific detail of what this "lower role" could do before we can even claim Devourer can do something to Beerus, if it just lower stats, Beerus scale to 3 universes which pretty much still make him AP stomp, if it doesn't affect Beerus haxes then he just raise his hand and EE so........

I don't think Devourer was particularly specific about that either. I think Akron was initially an omnipotent evil, but then he was made into a creation of Godcat, but after that, in Epic Battle Fantasy 5, Godcat was just made into a summon NoLegs can only use with a Limit Break and Akron was kinda made nonexistent. That's my theory based on how the games handled EBF3, EBF4, and EBF5 anyway.

Then i think Devourer plot hax is kinda nonfactor here in this match

Okay, so the turd doesn't need a hand gesture to erase something from existence. Its eye can just do it alone:
