BAN-KAI! Bleach General Discussion

It gives in to the fan theories saying “Uryu wants not holding back” and “Ichigo was holding back” nonessential “direct” statements. As in word for word. Sounds sketchy.

Based on the leaks it seems that base Renji vs Gerard is still a thing, BUT because of Feder Zwinger, this doesn't hurt scaling because we know that Renji is currently nerfed. Somehow they made the rug scene even worse because Askin ain't even near Ichigo like the manga, but I can't complain because at least we know he had to try alternative means and not directly use the Deathdealing on him. my glorious chocolate queen Yoruichi steps up to the plate, but the Thunder God transformation isn't coming until cour 4. If Uryu vs Jugram is going to be the final episode of the cour, I hope we see a shit ton more than what the manga gave, possibly an Ichigo vs Uryu rematch like AppleLord suggests, but we'll see when the episode 40 leaks likely come out some time later today.

So, I missed a little sumn sumn for Renji in cour 1 that implies his Post-TS self (pre RG training) is around Byakuya level.

Meat and Taters
Here is my proposal for the upgrades to his Post-Timeskip key.

Tier: High 6-A, higher with Bankai and Shakkaho

I have 2 questions:

Will Askin have some possible relative scaling to TS Ichigo from his offscreen fight? We obviously know Ichigo was holding back, but will he get a possibly on his speed being relative to Ichigo like how Gin was to masked Ichigo? Or is there too little information to do any scaling to him.

And speaking of Renji, will Renji specifically be 2-C with Zagaizekko/True Power or could he be 2-C in Bankai from harming Uryu?

I think speed is possible otherwise it potentially could have led to a blitz but off screen fights are problematic. Can't comment on the second question.

We shall see what we learn of the fight with Askin when the episode drops. But it seems to be the same as the manga, so I ask, does Askin currently scale? And the answer is no. Maybe speed.

Renji will get multiplicatively downscaled from where Shutara scales due to Uryu scaling. Whether that will be 2-C who knows.

I was mostly referring to speed, his ass ain't doing jack shit to Ichigo. Just wanted to know how that possibly affects the captains that scale to Askin in speed.

Ok, so no true power Renji would be relative to Blut Uryu? I know he downscales from Bankai Senju and only Vollstandig and beyond scales above, and Renji needed to use Zagaizekko to harm Vollstandig Uryu, so that would mean Renji would massively upscale from base with Zagaizekko rather than having the move be it's own tier.

I would also ask about Uryu's LS, but rn I'm a bit busy.

Blut Uryu no sold Zaga Teppo. Bankai Renji scales vaguely higher than base Uryu, which is 1/10th of Shutara. His 20 second charge up attack scales

No I didn’t. My point was always Shinigami function mechanically different than Quincy, you being unable to understand that and call me out on a point and be proven wrong by the very scan you mentioned is on you.
