BAN-KAI! Bleach General Discussion

So Lille's final attack, Trompete first takes a very "Saturn" like form as this giant sphere with a ring about it. Saturday is named after Saturn, "Saturn's Day", and is also closest to the sanctified day of the Lord, Sunday. A neat connection back to Lille being the closest to Yhwach/god. Saturn also is symbolically tied to an abandonment of materialism in Buddhism, which looking at Lille's main gimmick being an abandonment of material/physical form is a further neat tie in. And in Hinduism Saturn represents Lord Shani, a deity that shapes destiny and plays a big role in the karmic cycle, AND is the son of the Sun God. That mattering since 1) Lille is tied to Yhwach's destiny of despair motif (Lille spouts of despair to Shunsui, and fate is tied to despair in Bleach as seen with Yhwach), and the Soul King (now Yhwach at this point) gets his name after the Gnostic deity of the Sun, along with all the other sun symbolism of the Quincy lol.

Aight enough Kubo glazing from me for the time being, but I think this small detail was pretty cool, and enriched the narrative and Lille's character.

It truly has been a fun few weeks. Hopefully Cour 4 comes out around the same time next year. If it's 2026, I'd be fine as long as they go ALL IN and possibly get more animators. I wanna hopefully see Hironori Tanaka in Cour 4, he did Ichigo vs Ulquiorra in Hell Verse.

But let's let the season pass and enjoy the beauty of FRI ENDS

Saturday is the Sabbath so "is also closest to the sanctified day of the Lord, Sunday" is not even needed to make the connection.

Dang the OST during Lille's Trompete sent chills down my spine. Absolute cinema. Also the angelic reference was neat and I noticed how similar it is to one of the four Angels in Islam during the Judgement Day when Israfil blows his trumpet where first time signals about the Day of Judgement and kills everything in its vicinity and second time for resurrecting the dead.

Dunno about how it is depicted in Bible though it seems its a mixture of both lore from Islam and Christianity.

1. It predates the creation.
2. It is unchangeable. Concept of old and new doesn’t apply to this. Change of it would just mean annihilation of cosmos including current casuality system, laws since it would detroy everything and return to primordial world.
3. It is not dependant on realities, space time. It's the other way.
 
None of that proves Soul King is Conceptual, much less a Type 1 Concept. I'm too exhausted to address why exactly you're incorrect right now. So I'll just leave it as that; if the comment is still there when I wake up, I'll explain why all three points don't prove the asserted claim true.

That's CM2, not CM1.

CM1 is a concept that isn't dependant on all things within it's sphere of influence, meaning if Reio dies, the concept will still remain.

If all of reality is dependant on his existence, that's CM2, and the concept of Reio is dependant on his existence, otherwise without Reio, all of reality goes to shit.

This will be very straight forward. Names in Bleach are concepts with meaning, power assigned to it. Name is someone's fundamental aspect of existence (concept) Ichibe needs to name ichigo as "reio" to function as reio despite having the requirements of reio, again meaning name is important...

You just mixed up things there. I think you did not read the description well.

As you can see it is independent of reality, rather realities are dependant on it. And it doesn’t shape all of reality.

Yo! Lillie was really feeling himself, enjoying the idea of being called a god. Man was loosing it after coming back. Bro's monologuing and charging his attack like a final villain 😞 On a serious note, I enjoyed the episode, it's surprising to episodes that are shifting focus between multiple groups, allows me to focus on characters I didn't think much of in the past.
