Which rule did i break .Allahvasima, Perma ban this man.
Expressing yourself completely, without a filter for your thoughts.Which rule did i break .
Your definition of a "true harem" series is incredibly loose lmao, you wanna have a point so bad. The series doesn't revolve around it like the stuff you talk about itwill not change anything. The MC pretty much got a harem ending, which beats anime that just have a harem in it without a harem ending.
Demon slayer you can call season 2 a harem ending for the guy who is not the mc .
Lastly, do you even know anything about Trinity Seven?
What if I reccomend you only the seasons meant for adult audiences? I assure you they're nothing like Power Rangers (not even the 2017 live action movie)ah, but you aren't suggesting Shin Kamen Rider (and I knew that, because I love Shin Godzilla). you're suggesting Kamen Rider, which to my knowledge is essentially Power Rangers.
another year of recommending the greatest novel to ever be written!I'll be making another thread sometime after new year's for next year's recommendations. I'll try to bear this in mind, still. Anime movies are sorta in a different boat, although I might just watch 'em at Movie Night with the VSBW guys. We watched Akira earlier this year, it was fantastic.
I've already read Water ship Down AND Going Postal AND Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, I'm afraid.another year of recommending the greatest novel to ever be written!
have you read Re: Zero kara hajimeru isekai seikatsu's novel?I've already read Water ship Down AND Going Postal AND Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, I'm afraid.
So Koe No Katachi is still possibleman
I do not wish to denigrate you. I don't want your feelings to be hurt. I don't want to be unduly cruel to my fellow human, for he is my brother, and I show love to my brother.
but what the HELL are you talking about
"so much more limited" harem is like
such a tiny, blessedly tiny fraction of a fraction of a percent of all human-made media
I have seen some of the greatest films ever produced, I have read some of the greatest novels mankind has penned, I have listened to music of such beauty that I have wept
and you intend to present me as the unenlightened one for not engaging in mindless coomerism? harem anime? are you sure?
I don't watch this shit to get off, man. I want something of interest to my mind, not my ****. I'll tank it if it has fanservice within it, because sex sells even to the sexless anime enjoyers, but my god, it is not the goal of watching it. it is an active discouragement to see it.
I genuinely do not think you can possibly make an anime recommendation to me that I will hear out. You and I are not alike. What qualifies as good has 0% overlap between us.
Neon Genesis Evangelion, followed by Death Note.

the upper divinities in question are the ones who sent me as the messenger to youa godless question, I will speak to the upper divinities on your behalf
True!Bambu's just being a contrarian. Don't worry, though, that'll get knocked right out of him as soon as he watches "If My Wife Becomes An Elementary School Student".

Btw, it isn't actually a pedophilic type of anime, from what I hear it's pretty heartfelt and has some emotional moments in it.i wont name names but it is probably either a biography or a divination for one of the people reading this message
from what i have heard its about a guy who's wife dies and she reincarnates to help him move on or smthBtw, it isn't actually a pedophilic type of anime, from what I hear it's pretty heartfelt and has some emotional moments in it.
Though I haven't watched it and don't intend to watch it at all, so I'm not sure if that's accurate or not.
Either way the title for it is really goddamn funny and crazy
Revolving around a harem is not the problem when it comes to a harem ending. An anime can pretty much revolve around a harem but fail to have a harem ending. When that happens, it is no longer a harem in my eyes and others who love harem endings. It turns into a romance where the MC just has girls around him like Quintessential Quintuplets. I don’t even like pure normal romance; it is boring to me. For me, you can pretty much have any genre in that anime as long as it gets a harem ending. Then it is a true harem, like "Redo of Healer." For me, it is pretty much the very definition of a true harem under the plot, where they develop love for each other.I would also enjoy the other aspects of the anime that are not harem since I also want something interesting. So, an anime does not have to have the core of its story be harem for it to be a true harem. Harem just happens due to the characters' development in the story.Your definition of a "true harem" series is incredibly loose lmao, you wanna have a point so bad. Understandable, since the anime is more of a comedy with nice fights, they don't explain stuff. They throw random stuff around that you will not understand if you don't read the manga, like themes, archives, and random names. So, most of the stuff would not make sense. Also yes I watched a bit of Trinity Seven that shit was rancid
I haven't watched it yet, but I know about it. It just looks like it has a dense MC with girls after him in a comedic way, which is hard to see as a true harem.Talking about harem anime, I remembered a series I watched when I was 10, called Cupid's Chocolate (dw I'm obviously not recommending this).
and my little sister can't be this cuteBambu's just being a contrarian. Don't worry, though, that'll get knocked right out of him as soon as he watches "If My Wife Becomes An Elementary School Student".
My guy, with all due respect, do you really think this discussion will change Bambu's mind? You can just drop it.Revolving around a harem is not the problem when it comes to a harem ending. Have you seen Fruits of Grisaia? It is kind of a dark harem on the level of Berserk. It is kind of interesting, maybe Bambu would be interested.

AgreedMy guy with all due respect, do you really think this discussion will change Bambu's mind? You can just drop it.
I show him some of the manga stuff, he didn't seem interested in neither the anime nor the manga... he also said he prefers to watch animes instead of reading it so like, not a lot to do about thatWatch Kengan Asura.
Basically just big sweaty buff men fighting to the death. I would say read the manga, but I'm not that ambitious, so if you ever want to just see martial arts action, Kengan is a good option. Very good choreography and fun characters.
Frankly, it is prob just a media he might not enjoy that much kek. Kengan doesn't really offer what he wants in a story, I don't know if he would be in it just for the spectacle of the fights (Although Ashura and the earlier chapters of Omega had a lot of substance, one can't deny the spectacle shines)Crazy
Ye, same with Sandro's other manga, but I guess I don't really want to rumble about it in Bambu's thread kekHence I clarified that you should only watch it if you just want martial arts action. Kengan is not even close to being the most profound story out there. The fights and characters are just rad, which is the whole point.
Nah, if it's not the manga it's not worth. And Bambu don't read manga. Plus I don't know if that type of story of even interests Bambu but who knows.Watch Kengan Asura.

Hm... maybe you'd like Fate/Zero?well. The anime I've really liked up to this point, in descending order from "fantastic" to "reasonably enjoyable":
I tend to prefer darker plot elements, and a more serious tone. That said, I believe there's a balance to be achieved, and dislike things that are overly edgy for the sake of it. I prefer things to be thought out and well written, and focused enough on the plot. I've already mentioned things I found distasteful about Frieren, so avoiding all of that is good, too. I'm also a fantasy guy over all else, so fantasy begins with some points in the hopper.
- Neon Genesis Evangelion
- Death Note
- Overlord
- Mekakucity Actors
- Hellsing
To completely upset all of that, I've entertained for the past few years enjoying a slice of life or more dramatic anime. I didn't dislike the ones my sister tried to show me when I was young, although I don't know if that'd hold up these days.
I dislike shonen and all that, so anything related to shonen isn't strictly a "no" but I will probably like it a lot less than the average viewer.
Watch Kengan Asura.

Yeah. I don't really care about anime combat, and I don't put any respect on martial arts over any other form of combat. It's not really my shit. Though, to be fair, Drite mentioned it on a discussion about artwork in manga that I could appreciate, not as a story- I find most manga fairly ugly, with a small handful of exceptions. Kengan Asura wasn't one of 'em, though.I show him some of the manga stuff, he didn't seem interested in neither the anime nor the manga... he also said he prefers to watch animes instead of reading it so like, not a lot to do about that
Sincerely, I ain't, I'm hateful of a lot of tropes within anime. An anime that doesn't engage with said tropes doesn't have marks against it. Perverted protagonists, over elaborative dialogue, stupid pointless combat for the sake of it, the list carries on and on. It's all just very annoying, I'm often surprised that it has become as popular as it has given the alternatives. Why is he so hateful towards anime anyway?
You, mental asylum, nowHm... maybe you'd like Fate/Zero?
