It’s been ready for quite a while in all honestly
I just lost motivation at some point along the way and started updating it ever so slowly

But in light of truly unfortunate recent events
I’ve made a point to renew it a lot and add a bunch more stuff I was honestly saving for an update CTR after the profile went live

But now..
I just want it to be perfect on release
I’ll be sure to DM anyone/everyone in discord whoever wants to see it and my other plans the day before the CTR drops just for extra opinions, suggestions and support.
 
Hello, I have a question about ki. Is ki energy connected to the soul? Let me give an example: Is the soul of the person whose ki energy we crush or destroy indirectly affected?

It's taken me some time but I've decided that with Toriyama's passing, for the time being, I can't emotionally handle actively scaling Dragon Ball at this stage. so I will be unfollowing this thread for the foreseeable future and won't be taking part in any DB threads.

We don't really know many details about Ki. Though we know that it needs to be trained in different aspects. Ginyu couldn't use more than a power level of 24k in Goku's body and was losing to Krillin even though Goku's actual power level at the time was 90,000, which Goku said was because Ginyu hadn't trained his mind and couldn't use Goku's powers properly. Toriyama once noted that Ki is composed of 3 aspects; Genki (Vigor/Spirit), Yuki (Courage), Shoki (Typical "inner peace" mind stuff basically).

Considering that characters retain their Ki upon entering the Otherworld, we can assume that the soul is inherently connected to Ki.

But we know, in the manga it was explained that soul and ki are the same things, arch Moro.

We know that in transfer to the afterlife, your Ki remains—We also know it directly houses the Soul, which is why Moro’s Ki feels like a mass of screaming souls and why when Ki was returned, his victims with bodies were revived. (This is also why Yardrats call it “Spirit.”)

That said, no, hitting someone with a Ki blast doesn’t harm their Soul, as far as we know. They’re connected, but they aren’t reliant on each other in such a way.

In the manga Vegeta also mentions that ki are people's souls.

Garlick Jrs feat yields practically the same energy as the previous calc for it, so unless it’s a significant upgrade it might be best to just keep it as is since it still scales to 50% Freeza.

Ki is a spiritual power that would include its soul. It’s the reason why ki has characteristics like evil too I’d assume.

I got like 10+ scans of Ki being soul based
 
Naah, Ki is just an energy system which includes "soul energy", but no ki user can harm nor affect the soul in any way just by throwing ki attacks

Mm. This does open up a few questions, though.

Spirit Control is, well, control on the Spirit/Ki, which grants strange abilities like separating Ki (Souls) from a Ki (Soul) Stealer, which then does beg the question: Would the principles of Spirit Control being applied to YOUR OWN Ki be Limited Soul ManipulatIon? Kind of the like the unique "Knowledge of your Soul Outline" operates in JJK? In this case, manipulating your Ki (Soul) to amplify it? I'd argue this seems to be the case, as those without SC are said to be "out of touch with their Spirit." (Spirit being Ki/The Soul.) And increasing that Spirit grants greater power as well as the wealth of techniques (which is described as "shifting, splitting, and growing" one's spirit {Soul}).

I believe so, they can manipulate their souls freely, i still think that ki should receive a type 3 concept, because they are linked to the existence of everything multiverse, including the soul itself, beyond timelines.

I don't know if this makes much difference to the concept.

But ki defines your existence, in addition to each person having their own ki signature, which also defines whether you are good or bad, it also defines whether you are a deity or not.

I saw GOW using this thing about whether you are a god or not to support the concept. Although there is much more there and there is more context about things.

But it's a way of thinking, personally I don't see a type 3 concept in ki, but if you can do it, well, good, I guess.
