BAN-KAI! Bleach General Discussion

Here's what's actually happening.

The shackles are a set number of reiatsu restraint. Let's say it holds back 1000. Kid Zaraki is now at 200 with them. Since he's an adult he's physically superior so now he's 250 with restraints. (Numbers are made up to show a point don't take em serious)

Zaraki is now more mature physically but the restraints are still there. Restricted adult Zaraki > restricted kid Zaraki. And Unohana is simply referring to the strength he's holding back that would make him superior. So you can scale Unohana to shikai Kenpachi since she massively weakened herself by healing and healing which does take a toll on you this is factual. She was willing to sacrifice her life to get him back.

So you can say she only was wanting him to remove the shackles so he could reach his true potential and be even more dominant than she was. She allowed him to pierce him and deactivated her Bankai when she could sense he was no longer held back. I'm pretty sure we see her accept his blade before he connected so she's still above base zaraki 💯

Read the Unohana fight lmao. She was suprised to the extent the kenoachi who stabbed her was holding back.

You could never justify this claim. Your only argument is literally "didn't get vaporized by a holding back child."

You made this up. He only held back later not during the initial. There is no evidence to support this

Because it's valid until you prove how piercing base Unohana is equal to killing her semi immortal Bankai. He didn't know who Unohana was dude. For him he was bloodlusted after killing a pile of bodies she was just another corpse to him till he realized she can fight

It's highly implied he only held back towards the end after multiple clashes. The panel showing his dark expression at the end is only when he started to suppress himself

So you can say he's only slightly above base Unohana. So all healing she did exhausted her and she accepted his blade once his shackles were removed not really proof his old self was above Bankai she never used it which is evident by his expressions

He is said to be shackled as he stabbed her.

Unohana is not that guy.
 
"because of our battle." Which means shes talking about the result of the fight itself. Later in that clip is when you see him actually start to suppress himself. Which only happened after multiple exchanges when he realized she won't last for much longer since he was enjoying it.

Because healing exhausts a user especially if it's healing of wounds of dying targets and multiple times at that and she accepted his blade rather than him just stomping her

Because if he watched the clip he would know she's not talking about shackles after being stabbed especially not before she was stabbed but rather later on when he saw her exhausted knowing she would no longer keep up forever

Yes, the Manga and anime show Kenny blitzing and putting a hole in Unohana and unohana being suprised she got weaker.

Only applies to Kaido, not her Bankai healing. She conceded because Kenny was stronger than her and was the one who truly deserved the title of strongest instead of her. Claiming Bankai Unohana scales to any form of Kid Zaraki is against the narrative.
