Ragna Crimson Discussion Thread

Also what is keeping ya from making the pages for the verse? If too busy then understood.
Too busy for one. I ended up being to caught up in Uni stuff than I expected and also because I'm working on another verse as well (which is a novel series with 11 + Books)

We already have an accepted speed calc putting the verse at Sub-Rel, so really we need AP and LS at this point and I should be able to begin working on profiles.

I'm starting to think slime is literally the author inserting himself into the work...

Do we already know who the Ageless Swordsman is?

Interesting detail and additional upgrade for Crimson:

At the beginning of ch.67 you can see that Net Saint has registered all the dialogue and scenes between Ragna & Co. but Crimson is not present and none of the Saints is aware of Crimson's presence. Seems like Crimson's existence erasure-memory manipulation also works on cameras etc.

Golem is also unironically a beast. Being able to take on mature dragons seemingly without much injury despite the fact even the most skilled of the Silver Armament Corps can barely take on ONE mature dragon by themselves is a pretty insane feat, not to mention he'd killed hundreds of lower-class dragons.

I've seen some theories regarding the whole Silver Fragment situation happened in ch.67. Here's an example:

"Ragna, Rouxi, Nim and around one-two squads of Carlas are heading to the Lost Fragment location. Meanwhile Amen is left without one of its strongest heavy hitters (Ragna) and 2 Saints. We know that Sigmalio ordered Glest to obliterate around the 20% of the Sun Cult forces before the Roars starts the invasion (Shin Cutlass will prolly help tho). Sure, if what kudos are saying is correct then Ragna = Drapolo Sun Saint and Hakuren in terms of power...but the problem is dudes have to face 10 superior dragons (including Bagram), millions of lesser dragons, mature dragons, the traitor and Glest. It will be hard af to counter all that shit without Ragna and other 2 Saints...well, unless Chimera retrives her powers and unleashes Ferbigott once again. He's not as strong as Glest or Bagram but damn a 2nd Class Dragon is a ******* menace, especially one that disintrgrates/transmutates wathever his magic touches for hundreds of miles.

So what is going to stop Ragna and 2 Saints to insta-kill wathever shit is hiding in the Fragment mines? Either an extremely powerful 2nd Class or a King. Which one? The former King of Roars. He's not dead...or at least nothing stated he's dead. Bagram has simply took his place. And what's better than a Dragon King to guard the most broken magic-fuckery stuff of the verse?

Two cents: we are about to see 2 battlefronts...

▪ Ragna/Nim/Ruoxi/Silvers vs Former Roars King

▪ Sun Cult + Golem + Shin + Ferbigott vs Glestnowak and Roars Bloodline"

IMO there are a few possible scenarios:

1• Banko, the Bones King => kinda doubt it's Banko, since he's at the bottom of the indian ocean. The only small thing that supports this idea is that the Fragment location is in the south-east.

2• The Fragment => maybe it's sentient and has somekind of auto-defence system that spatially obliterate intruders or whoever it is not worthy...

3• Glestnowak => finding a Silver Comet's fragment before the imminent invasion of the Roars seems suspicious. Let alone sending 2 Saints and the 1st Class Believer (basically Saint tier) would fit with Sigmalio's orders of taking down 20% of the Cult's forces, Ragna included. Also the strongest 2nd Class is defo enough to keep Ragna and 2 Saintess at bay for a while. Leaving the Roars to start the invasion w/o probs.

4• Rex, Former King of Roars => u already know this theory. It's what hypes me more than anything else.

Man what the FRICK just happened
The author is heartless if she really is dead, it was so quick she was barely introduced it's kind of unbelievable that she died.

What is certain is that her death was to hype someone or herself by showing her being able to come back to life or the dragon/the fragment or all of them. 🤷

With Carla there they can just rewind time to bring her back to life, so it's unlikely she'll just be dead permanently, especially since she hasn't been around for very long.

I wonder if the giant bone dragon thing was the Bone King?

The comet is located in the southeast of Amen and the Bone King is past the southeast region of the continent in the ocean so you would have to see if the locations of both match and the attack was identical to the attack the miners received so could have been either the Bone King or the Comet or the Bone King could have been sealed in a fragment of the comet that is located in the ocean and this appearance was because the fragments are connected kind of serving as a foreshadow.

Yeah. Too soon for Nim to be perma-dead. Also cuz it was hinted she has a "i touch and people die" kind of power back on chapter 60. Furthermore one of her feet was not erased, so the Carlas should be able to time hax her back.
BTW seems like that spatial erasure-looking power can also erase other spatial types of magic, since Nim's cages are spatial barriers, like Nephilim's.

My theory is that instead of the Silver Comet the shard thing was actually just a fragment of the King's body. It would make sense, since we see at the end of the chapter, the cave morphs to be more "fleshy" like they are inside of someone's stomach.

Seems like that mine was the stomach of a colossal dragon. Have you noticed how the surroundings turned after the "death" of Nim?
Now...the question is...what was the purpose of that fragment of Silver Comet? Was it sealing the King of Bones? Was it part of the whole trap, like the mine = dragon stomach? And now that the supposed fragment got teleported to Amen...what fate awaits the Sun Cult?
Hype for ch.69! Will be fully battle focused. Gargantina, Lapisdozzo, Colossal Fake-Mine Dragon (or Banko?) vs Ragna, Ruoxi, hopefully Nim and....pfffff poor Chimera!

ENG Chapter and sweet Lord! 😱

Nim is 100% not perma-dead. Her whole backstory suggests it.
Actually now that her cage is gone i wonder if that weird "curse" who killed all the people that came close to her will be released. Mysterious deaths, diseases, deadly incidents...could this be somekind of passive fate manipulation or sum?

Also who thinks it wasn't Banko that killed the miners, Nim etc. but it's Lapisdozzo's maze magic that did it?

The first episode of the Ragna Crimson anime was absolutely garbage. I cannot believe they did it like this.
What was the problem? The anime was nice and the best part was Ragna meeting his future self. Honestly forgot how good Ragna's character was until I saw that.

Compared to the manga it wasn't even close tbh. Future Ragna's voice acting in his scenes were not how he should've sounded at all lol.

Welp, seems like the majority of the japanese audience liked it and found it interesting. The anime is aiming to gain more popularity for the series, which is good! Hope one day Kobayashi will make databooks and stuff ✌️

Btw Raptelika is on the cover of volume 13.

======================

Btw in the latest chapter it was stated that mere 2nd rank believers are as strong as the strongest members of the Silver Army, hence Cristopher, Garm, Fuu and Shin Cutlass. Nice for powerscaling.

The anime also confirms world-shattering magic power is needed in order to bypass Ragna' Silver Aura body and deadly injure him.

Now we have the official translation, the raws and the anime. Guess it's enough for the BP.

What did the manga say?
