The commoners thread: Discussing Ultima's "On the Many, Many Incoherences of the Tiering System"

SCP will still have a bunch of 1-A to High 1-As in this system due to its narrative stack hierarchies lol.

??? No, it will not. Universe Prime is the very apex of the SCP cosmology and nothing else in the setting is comparable to it, so it'll be the only Tier 0.
 
Does Universe Prime have a page on this wiki? I looked at the category page for tier 0 characters and couldn't find it.
 
Saw someone talking about TD and how it alone would grant 1-A. Is this accurate? And would it vary between 1, 2, and 3?

Yeah tier 0 requires way more than TD. I edited my post to quote Ultima's description of 1-A instead of tier 0 so read through it and come to your own conclusion or ask Ultima.

True Form SRE has quite a bit of negative theology, even relative to strings of all possible characters within every possible story.

To the point that even declaring anything about it, completely misses the point of what it is and fails to define it. It's state can't even be represented by a negation of all properties and qualities, else it would "come into existence" and thus not be itself.

In that sense, I think it fills the role of Ultima's Tier 0 "Characters who are completely beyond both quantity, quality and meta-quality. In other words, their superiority over lesser things derives from a total lack of any qualities"

It's probably going to remain 0, if I'm to guess.

It may even be the best example of what a Tier 0 is, if I'm understanding correctly.

SRE as a story also has forms of Qualitative superiority even beyond cardinal numbers. Things like the Giant Corpora could exceed conceivable scale even relative to a multiverse of large cardinals, and essentially transcend "size." And then going on to interact with the "real world."

And that's just one of the endless strings of text in one of the endless amounts of stories SRE contains.

There's also layers of "Trans-Transcendence," which probably qualifies for High 1-A by itself lol.

Verse is still going to be cracked as all hell.

Oh I have no idea about SRE the character, I thought they were referring to the verse itself which would have a few downgrades
