Four things:
- The Night King doesn't exist in the books.
- In the books the White Walkers are called the Others.
- In the books the Three-Eyed Raven is called the Three-Eyed Crow.
- ASOIAF dragons profile covers all in one, there isn't a profile for each dragon like in GoT.

Please elaborate regarding what you mean with objectively scalable characters. Also, I think that we are supposed to take all aspects of a verse into account when trying to scale it properly, including plots and explicit showings/feats.

I don't think any fictional character is objectively scalable. Obviously, you can scale...a little but you can't reach a 100% right conclusion. I see a lot of people make that mistake. Not naming names.
The sheer confusion I get from reading a character's VSBW page, then proceeding to watch their show/play their game and see content way ******* lower. It just makes no sense to me whatsoever. I genuinely consider author intent to be extremely important; for instance, why would an author make a character as strong as to be placed into the Tier 2/1 Immeasurable speed range and write stories more befitting of characters Tier 8/9 Atheltic speed unless the gimmick is that they're holding back or nothing is a challenge to them? The most obvious answer to me is that the author did not intend them to be on that level- and so they aren't.
but i can see why that would be extremely hard to prove in a debating website, and I don't wanna force my viewpoints on others, so I'll just leave.
