Pokemon Discussion Thread - Red & Blue arc

Zinnia wouldn't have summoned Rayquaza if her Mega Salamence was strong enough to stop/destroy the Grand Meteor Delta
Yes, but Mega Salamence being able to fight Rayquaza even temporarily in a losing battle is still notable scaling, no?

I mean yes, but in context, it's an outlier.
Do you mean it's an outlier because of the meteor thing? Couldn't Salamence be too much weaker than Rayquaza to effectively destroy the meteor, but not so much weaker that it can't fight it?
Plus, what's the evidence her Salamence couldn't? The absence of her doing so? A statement? When we have an ON-SCREEN FEAT of it being comparable?
Aren't we supposed to put feats over statements, & things with shown evidence over unshown/unproven things?

...what? Even base Rayquaza is more than capable of stopping the meteor, if Mega Salamence was comparable to Mega Rayquaza it'd have no problems destroying it. And again, the main reason that she summoned Rayquaza was to stop the meteor. That's basically the entire plot of the delta episode.

So the reason we don't scale Zinnia's Mega Salamence to Rayquaza is because Zinnia didn't mention/consider/attempt having her Salamence stop the meteor?

Well, she would have risked awakening the primals to hope that Rayquaza comes rather than let her Mega Salamence attempt to destroy the meteor. So I'd say she was pretty certain it'd be unable to stop the meteor.

& being unable to stop the meteor Rayquaza destroyed (Was that casual?) equals being unable to match Rayquaza, is the case?

Basically Deoxys' AP scales to the Grand Meteor Delta, base Rayquaza is superior to Deoxys for one-shotting it with Hyper Beam, and mega Rayquaza is far superior to base Rayquaza.

I watched the latest anime episodes. Besides the other two episodes, that being the one with the glaceon girl and a trial, there's sadly no proof of infinite multiverse.

Definitely proof of parallel universes being a big thing.

In general, Team Rocket with futuristic tech use the red chain to force Dialga and Palkia into a 1v1 causing time-space to distort across dimensions. The red chain actually creates an arceus ring around Dialga and Palkia and that mind controls them. Anyways they plan on making all pokemon babies and stealing and brainwashing them. Ashes, Gos, Dawns and Koharus end up thwarting their plans. They can't break the chain cause the pokemon are all eggs, and thus the only thing they can do is pray to Arceus.
The people from the parallel dimensions pray to Arceus and the dude appears for a moment, nukes the chain and disappears.
Everything gets fixed and everyone goes back to their respective universe.

Of all the powers to use Dialga & Palkia for....

Are we saying team rocket as in Jesse James Meowth, or Team Rocket as in the Big Leagues, Giovanni stuff?
Team rocket trio who seem to be leaders now as they had goons, giovani may be a thing cause they never showed us their HQ which we know exists

A one-time appearance, but with considerably greater power, & ostensibly, characterization.
Hm… I suppose that’s fair.
Shouldn’t it be another Profile, then? Not a Key, but something like a Tabber (Team Rocket Trio (Alternate Universe)) or something?

They're a different version of the Team Rocket Trio. Shouldn't they be a different Key or a different Tabber?

Although, if there's reason for them to be a separate profile instead, I'm fine with that, too.

I mean they have resistance to time manip via equipment and meowth has op attacks and all have jet packs sk

wait holup...

pokemon movie novelizations are a thing?
Yes, they are. But they are also very rare and there's basically no information on them on the internet by fans, so we also have no scans about them.

The best that we could find was the fan reaction over the Hoppa Novelization because it had a lot of nice information like Ash remembering the events of the past movies, Lugia talking with Ash as it was revealed it was the same Lugia from the movie, the name of Arceus' rings being "Thousand Arms" and more. It's really a very popular Novelization for the Japanese fanbase due to being the ine that acknowledges the most of previous material and many considered being much better than the movie.

Well theirs some good things that came from the Pokémon anime episode. While normally Palkia's Pokedex entry say stuff like this
It is said to live in a gap in the spatial dimension parallel to ours. Palkia appears in mythology.
The anime Pokédex entry said this.
It is said to live in a gap between parallel dimensions. It's total control over the boundaries of space enabled it to transport itself to farway places or even other dimensions.
Add in the fact that Palkia power was causing gates to other parallel worlds to open up make the fact that Palkia and Dialga's Space and Time are mutliversal an undeniable fact. You take this and add in the infinite time and infinite space quote, and anything less then a Possibly 2-A Pokémon is pretty much a impossibility.

Hey guys, I forget
Is Calyrex’s Precog passive? If so, why?
"This Pokémon ruled all of Galar in ancient times. Though it appears delicate and slight, its every move is filled with grace and dignity. It also has extremely high intelligence, and it’s said to see every past, present, and future event."

From the Pokemon website. It isn't explained much how the precognition works, but it seems passive to me.

In episode 43 of the Pokemon Anime, Goh's Raboot Dynamaxes, & then crashes into the mural, breaking it.
But wasn't there in-game text that was about Dynamax Pokemon lacking mass or physicality or something?
