In the latest episode a single spirit from a spiritomb slips into Ash and posseses him and ends up taking full control

Spiritomb should have Posession as one of his abilities due to this.

There are other things in the episodes like Gengar going into shadows and such which can be discussed here as it could potentially grant new abilities

Gengar going into shadow's is nothing new and is already on it's profile. As far as spiritomb goes the possession sounds good.

Yeah possession is pretty straight forward I agree and genar should also receive stealth mastery for his pokedex entries

Also the current profile for gengar states "Can absorb heat to lower temperature by 10 degrees Celsius" this comes from diamond,x and brilliant diamond entry and has nothing to do with his heat absorption the temperature falls simply via being in his presence. A proper distinction should be made between this and his heat absorption. So another minor buff for gengar

It hides in shadows. It is said that if GENGAR is hiding, it cools the area by nearly 10 degrees F.

It hides in shadows. It is said that in rooms where Gengar is hiding, the temperature drops by nearly 10 degrees Fahrenheit.

The x entry is same as diamond entry so it's not worth mentioning
