He word for word only mentions the surface of the planet

The earthquakes were caused by Orochi not the sphere. They appear before the tail rips it out of the core.

Again, Orochi caused the Earthquakes, not the sphere. It gets more intense because when moving it up the sphere contributed to the total energy effecting City Z

That however is an end. But neither I nor Asura now how to calculate it. If you can go ahead, since we know that was effected either way.
false ! The earthquakes were caused by the shere moving to reach the surface
the page before the sphere is the earthquake caused by orochi trying to set the sphere in motion
but the most intense earthquake (which raises the city) occurs after / contemporaneamnte to the suction

So we're assuming that Orochi's tail extended thousands of kilometers to grab some energy from the core and drag it up to the surface just to absorb it through his tail...Why would he drag it up if he could just absorb it through his tail? Wouldn't it make more sense for him to just use some form of energy manipulation to bring the energy to him.

Why is this being brought up?

Exactly what I think

IDK ask orochi not us.

in the panel immediately after the earthquake you can clearly see the nucleus that has already partially separated this implies that the earthquake is caused by the piece of the nucleus starting to move

The Earthquakes appear well before the sphere is sucked it. Its from him drilling into the Earth.

His tail moving back upwards at mach 3000

This only works if he 100% converted matter into energy, when his statement only states that he sucked up energy from the core rather than mass
the release of chemical or nuclear energy releases a lot of wasted material (because most of the mass remains)
considering the proportions of mass absorbed, a conversion as efficient as nuclear conversion would in any case release a lot of wasted matter
in the case of orochi there is no significant trace of wasted material this means that:
1) the conversion is very efficient
2) compressed the core instead of converting it into energy

English is not my first language so ... if it seems weird I won't do it again
Nah it's good that you are using it, nothing wrong with that. Like a strong one once said that if you want to do it, do it, do it morning, day and night, do it before and after meals, do it until you tire of it, do it until you can't any longer, just do it until there's nothing left! (lol)

Or you know, he only absorbed the core' thermal energy, which is what he stated he was going to do before he shot his tail down
the piece of the core has already moved several kilometers!

That the chunk of thermal energy. What Asura was talking about was the distortion in the outer core, not the chunk Orochi ripped out.

yes

ere it is clearly seen that part of the earth's mantle has moved
That's the Outer Core, and yes that's what I've been talking about in regards to the distortion
calculating this movement would give results superior to those obtained from the earthquake
It likely would. But I don't know how'd you calc it. It would require a 3-Dimensional cylinder of some shape and I don't know how you'd be able to find it.

Though it would be much less than the other one still, since it moved a fraction of the distance that the old calc used.

it is not thermal energy!
the movement of energy would not cause deformations in the Earth's mantle such as those clearly drawn because energy has no mass!
in addition to the fact that, as explained above, the other collateral effects cannot be caused by the movement of heat alone

it is not thermal energy!
It is, because Orochi said he was going to draw energy from the Earth not mass to convert it into energy.

Also the assumption that he converted that much matter would make Orochi High 5-A, which doesn't make any degree of sense.
in addition to the fact that, as explained above, the other collateral effects cannot be caused by the movement of heat alone
Its caused by Orochi forcefully sucking it out from the core. As mentioned before.
