Yeah, I'm kinda confused too. I dunno what the original page looked like, but the Article on the SCP wiki doesn't have anything that breaks our rules as far as I can tell. Anything "gross" or disgusting" is merely hinted at, not blatantly described or stated.@Antvasima Why did you delete SCP-953? I haven't seen the page itself, but from what I've read on the article on the scp wiki itself it doesn't sound more graphic than certain verses on our site, and I don't recall us ever having a rule against profiles that are "too disgusting".
iirc ant deleted my scp page for similar reasons@Antvasima Why did you delete SCP-953? I haven't seen the page itself, but from what I've read on the article on the scp wiki itself it doesn't sound more graphic than certain verses on our site, and I don't recall us ever having a rule against profiles that are "too disgusting".
It seems like I deleted it because it seemed like a stupid and disgusting gag page, not simply because it was disgusting.
we also have an scp which turns its victims into pedophiles, sooooooForcing others to commit incest, ****, necrophilia, and cannibalism against their wills would definitely be among the most extreme material in the wiki, and very unsuitable for our underage or sensitive visitors.
That could work, yes.Couldn't it just be reworded into something like "Forced people to commit gruesome acts against their will and even on their beloved ones"?
It partially does seems absolutely vile and sickening, yes. This is the reason why people argue if we can even use scp as a verse sometimes
The problem is that these practices were described within the profile page itself. If the descriptions are removed, and no graphic images are linked to, it should be fine.
you are framing me, this is slanderMe nor Armor Chompy ever gave the go-ahead for that. I at least never heard of it.
Yep, I mistook you for Pokemonfan there as I said in our conversationyou are framing me, this is slander
i think you should post this here instead. This profile isn't great. Not really deletion worthy, it just needs a minor rework.
The quotes should preferably be removed. The first one due to that it is too graphic, and the second one due to that it has been modified, and as such is not a quote anymore.I retrieved the code of the page and made some modifications to the sensible parts on one of my sandboxes (specifically the bottom of the summary, the explanation for mind manipulation and the intelligence section).
@Antvasima @WeeklyBattles @Agnaa Tell me if it's enough for the page to be restored. You can also tweak the text as you please, feel free to edit the sandbox.
There's also March's profile, which containsI want your dreams to be haunted by the knowledge that when you die, you might very well be herded into a realm where your hunger and thirst increase as always but you will never eat or drink again. Where your body feels pain like normal but can never die; where your mind is as easily spurred to suffering as on earth but where it can never crack into the release of insanity.
I want you to know you’ll be crammed into boiling hot cages, flayed, gutted, raped, lacerated, that we will rip out your eyes and pour boiling oil into the sockets and do it again and again and again.
We have stuff like that on the wiki with no-one ever batting an eye, but you two are considering a quote where a character bites into an agent's throat and rips out his liver to be too much? She’d skin Foil and wrap herself in Foil, she would soak herself in Foil and gorge herself on Foil’s flesh. Foil’s clothes would be decoration, as she had fancied once upon a time. She would be in and of and greater than and less than and equal to Foil. Then she would be in and of and to and through Foil, and vice versa.
And if Foil made it, which she would, provided March didn’t make any hilariously bad slips with the knives, which she wouldn’t, then what was left of her would come to accept it in time. She would see that it all made sense.
She would even come to love it.
