Unpopular opinions.

Samurai Jack is cool, last seasons first three episodes were kino, but then it was relatively ruined by Ashi.

Freddy shouldn't stand a chance imo to Jason in the real world. Dreams is different. But I don't see how sleeping medicine works on a zombie.

I honestly just think Samurai Jack isn't mention enough. Everyone goes to Avatar.
 
While I can understand the crictism towards it, I believe that the MCU could learn a thing or two from the DCEU on making a bit more darker superhero story.
Infinity War felt like a wasted opportunity to introduce a more darker tone to the MCU, because while I acknowledge that it had plenty of dark moments I also feel that there was as equally light hearted moments sprinkled in between which kills off the tension given in a story about a mad man trying to wipe out half the universe

As much as I love infinity war, I agree. At times, it feels jokes are just thrown on sake of it
 
Ah, and I need to come with an unpopular opinion: a) MCU is pretentious; b) liking anthro character don't make you a furry (you're not furry just cuz you think Loona is hot); and c) DnD, specially 5e, is bad as a rpg, it shops away creativity, play other game.
 
IDK if this will give me shit from saying this, especially as a One Piece casual, but I've seen plenty of times in the manga and anime that Luffy should've been killed by much stronger opponents but waa protected by the author, most notably I feel that way against his fight with Charlotte Katakuri
 
Some of mine;
1. MCU hasn't produced a single good film/show since Winter Soldier
2. AoT was pretty meh from the get go and ended badly.
3. JoJo is such a sore to sit through. It's a mess.
4.slime is a pretty boring verse. Good hax but the rest is pretty bland.
5. Misfit (Anos series) anime is one of the worst ones I have ever come across. And Anos is one of the most boring MCs (even tho I usually like OP characters)
6. Sob backstory ≠ depth
7. A story having flashbacks or connecting dots to the earlier parts episodes/chapters doesn't make it smart. It's just basic writing.
8. Brooklyn 99 isn't funny.
9. Valiant Comics >>>>> any other comic publisher. Fight me ¯\(◉‿◉)/¯
10. ReZero is bad/boring and has one of the worst main casts I have seen.
11. Invincible is one of the most overrated comics ever.
12. Believe it or not, Zack Snyder's Superman is extremely accurate to the source material. Well, the material it's adapting anyway.
 
  1. I honestly don't like DI, I can get the appeal, but it just isn't my thing.
  2. Not a super uncommon opinion, but MHA isn't that good, it took forever to be interesting. And by the time it got interesting, the series was almost over.
  3. Sonic Adventures 1 is bad, fight me.
  4. Modern SCP feels bland, it's mostly a bunch of metaphysical bull shit and it's feeling blander by the second.
  5. Pico's School isn't the best thing ever, it's ok, but not that good.
  6. I barely watched any digimon, but I already like it more than Pokemon.
 
I feel like whenever a series tries to become like metaphysical of become like really high into tier 1, it gets boring tbh, like it just feels it's just spouting stuff to sound cool, and the only few exceptions to this are stuff like the cthulhu mythos

I agree, other than some stand out characters like All-Might and Endeavor, the series is pretty "eh" for me.

Modern SCP is just trying achieve that sweet tier 0.

If they got that tier 0, their community is gonna boost in popularity and more people will read it for scaling just like Umineko

Lovecraft can get pretty boring too. He tends to stick to same formula and his type of writing style and preferences of older worlds are interesting but it can take an effort to get used to.

So it's not that surprising that other verses that tries to imitate this also gets affected by the same sense of boredom.

The most interesting parts of the SCP are its unique and weird entries. I suppose their mythology and so on are cool but they never caught my interest. The hard to kill lizard is a thousand times more interesting than whatever lore the leviathan has.
 
I mean, Lovecraft's story is based around how we're nothing on a Cosmic Scale and that we shouldn't travel far.

It's literally to make the reader have Existential crisis.

So I can see why it's boring for some people.
 
It's not exactly that, though that can be a reason too. Sometimes Lovecraft's idea of horror is dated compared to modern times and isn't exactly as scary for some. Though ironically these stories work exactly because of how Lovecraft writes.
 
Yeah, that makes sense. The sense of horror almost a century back would of course be different from today, so most of the impact can be dulled.
