4-D Soul Hax

It's called common sense. Why are we assuming something that's almost never been represented by fictional souls ever? Souls are most of the time just incoporeal aspects of the character at the same level of existence.

Are Souls physical? Cause the whole topic is boiling down to it's common sense, when applying dimension to immaterial forms seems nonsensical to me. It seems like it's a standard that is simply unquestioned on the wiki (besides me and dark). Would grabbing a soul no longer give you Non-Physical Interaction? Or are souls simply invisible? Anyway, this is just a back and forth. I'll simply accept the standard for what it is and try to ignore my doubts.

An immaterial form can have shape and size, thus having dimensions. They're independent of mass. Whether they're intangible or not wouldn't really matter.

No? What verse treats their souls as unshaped, undimensioned entities? Almost all representations of souls are.just incorporeal aspects of defined size.

Couldn't Soul Manipulation just be applying dimension to a soul? Cause unless specified within the medium, all characters are assumed to have a soul. If we never see souls within a medium, then it is an unshaped, undimensioned "entity", until manipulated. It is only once manipulated in some form do we see it show "dimension" within fiction. Might be a round a bout way of looking at it, but couldn't the definition of Soul Manipulation be tweaked very easily to be:
Soul Manipulation is the ability to interact with and/or apply dimension to....
Just a thought.

No? Soul Manipulation is just being able to affecting souls in general

Preface: Just a Thought
And if the verse doesn't showcase souls whatsoever. You know what shape/form/dimension the soul would take then? Or wouldn't it be better to assume that if someone manipulated that person's soul from a different verse, it would maintain dimension of whatever souls are like in their verse?

The soul would literally be the same leve of existance as the character unless is stated otherwise

The souls have the same level of existence, that's all that matters. 4-dimensional souls have a higher level of existence than 3-dimensional ones, so there's no affecting them. That's all really.

Not at all what I was saying. Shape/Form. Not 4D or 5D existence. Do we know what souls look like IRL?

Do we even know if souls exist IRL? No, so what would be the difference between IRL and a fictional verse that applies the exact same logic, where souls are never manipulated/seen. That's of course knowing that on the site we assume by default they would have souls. If a character form another verse manipulated their soul, would they not be applying dimension to their soul from their own viewpoint on souls and how they look/are shaped?

VBW. Do we automatically know what a soul would look like/form it would have when the verse doesn't show it, knowing they by default have one?

What you're saying is "we should assume this verse doesn't appeal to our default assumptions because there's no proof it doesn't". Like, you know why that's a bad argument, right? I'm legit convinced your trolling at this point

The whole reason our standard assumptions exist is so we can use tgem when we have nothing else to go on.

Souls are a part of the character's being. So if the character is 4-D, so is the being. That's the logic. That's the assumption. If the verse doesn't act that way, they have to demonstrate that.

Ok, so completely unrelated to Soul Manip entirely. When speaking on 4-D, when a character becomes tiered at Low 2-C, all of their hax/resistances automatically become 4-D correct?

The same way I see manipulating 4d space is similar to manipulating a 4d soul, it's a far greater feat than manipulating millions of souls and or manipulating a fusion of souls. Kinda like manipulating a certain sector of space verse manipulating the entire time space.

No? You seem to confuse 4-D existence with 4-D AP.
I think that's generally fine to do in cases, like tons of characters on this sites have their ap or dura based due to being big as planets or moons. Should work the same with 4d souls.

Dimensionality and souls are incompatible concepts, one hardly prove the existence of souls, even less prove it has dimensions. Just like minds and concepts, its immaterial. the "x-d souls" is basically to avoid nlf, and discard that someone like a psychic in wheel chairs mindhax a nigh-omnipresent being or similar. In verses, when you heard about "x-d souls" is most likely due the soul of both mortals and higher-d beings share the same origin/conclusion.

No, he didn't. My answer remains unchanged and it will continue to remain unchanged. At this point, all this thread presents is an opportunity for a circular argument, unless a massive change to the rules has been made that I somehow didn't notice.

Someone is taking this thread far too seriously and its definitely not Obi. Come on, this shit has already been pretty much solved.
