Real lasers or... (Sonic Feat, I know I know, *sigh*)

Laser Light Show Sonic


Are these real lasers, and if they are, is Sonic actually dodging the lasers or just laser timing them?

They seem to have at least 3 of the four rules, they can't be bent, move in a straight path, and are emitted from a light source through bulbs that have constant radiance. So I thought what the heck.
 
If that is the case, then with this information, I think I've just proven that Sonic had light-speed reflexes (at the very least) as early as Sonic CD. So there's no fighting against that. I'll see if more people accept it, and tack it on to the Sonic profile.

im just trying to say that his dodging is more speed of mind than speed of foot.And once a Sonic game comes out where he truly acheives light speed( which can be done while remaining playable, by the whole 'slowing perception of time' thing metal gear solids Raiden character does) i will be defending his FTL speed alongside you. otherwise all his claims to FTL will remain offscreen claims(like with the neon laser). if you do find CANON, VISUAL, proof he reaches these speeds i will fully support it.
 
He achieves light-speed with his Light speed attacks and dash alone, downplayer.

You don't have to defend anything with me.

Also, when he's Super Sonic, he also moves at FTL speeds, downplayer. You may want to keep your game mechanics to yourself. I've shown in multiple cases why he's light speed (capable of keeping up with and catching a Wisp specifically made to be a laser, is stated to be light speed by two WOG comments, from the History of Sonic the Hedgehog, and the Sonic the Hedgehog Super Interactive Annual 2014, as well as the fact that he could outrun a, though fake, black hole for a time. He's also commented as the fastest in the entire universe in instruction booklets.

All you're saying that just because the game mechanics don't fit how you wish them to, that it gives the Word of God less credibility. Wrong way to see it, bucko. But we all have our way of perceiving things, and that's just what you want to do, and that's completely fine. But don't come discounting feats just because you rely on game mechanics. Especially when one of those game mechanic feats has him running at speeds far faster than the speed of light (when doing a Lightspeed dash in Sonic Unleashed a light speed dash is 396 SPD compared to Sonic running at a staggering 2800 SPD).

So, by that notion, if we use your way, Sonic would already be Lightspeed without having to take WoG into count, actually, far faster than it. Ironically, The History of Sonic the Hedgehog states in Sonic Unleashed that Sonic can move at light speed, too.

So anymore game mechanics you need to talk about here, bub?
 
nope, you got me. i'd only wish you wouldn't retort to cruel nicknames to try and get your point across as all i'm doing is trying to have a constructive arguement with you, not ransack all your work.
 
Because I placed all this information up on the actual page, funny how no one likes reading, yet is all too happy to come in and state just how something isn't right. Kinda pisses me off I do all the hardwork to find most of those feats, and this BS happens.
