Samus Aran vs. Erza Scarlet

Two words: absolute zero

Surprisingly, Erza has no ice empress armor, and Samus' precog and reserve tanks help. Furthermore, Samus has better experience, and doesn't need to change armors to increase effectively.

^Pretty much this.

Samus would likely take this even if Erza had her Nagakami Armor.

Although iirc it's just close to absolute zero.

I would say allow Nakagami armor to make this a bit closer.

Even then Samus for reasons above

Erza does have fire against absolute zero and Nakagmi armor has power nullification, but more importantly does he have all of the hax from his profile in this battle?

Only the first key. Also AZ still OHK if it connects. Flames can only be used to prevent reaching 0 Kelvin.

Also power nullification won't work seeing how it's against magic

Verse equalization doesn't turn technology into magic afaik. That's why we have "types" of power nullification.

Precog, regen, ice manip, attack reflection, invulnerability and forcefields

Precognition, Regenerationn, attack reflection invulnerability, force fields, absolute zero and this is not considered a stomp? Only with FT characters...

That would not be a stomp even if the opponent was Goku. Note how she has a win against the even less haxxes Frieza.

This is ridiculos, possibilty of being completly invulnerable to attacks, precognition to know attacks that are going to happen, reflection of attacks and durabilty ignoring.

What is a stomp for you people? And how fast is samus?

Can't Erza attack intangible beings with one of her armors? Erza can also ignore durability correct? So it's not really a stomp but rather a decisive win for Samus.

Ok I just checked and if Samus moves at supersonic speed on a place wher Gravity is 960 times bigger than if we take 2 Mach per 1000 her speed would be 2000mach while Erza has a minimum of 4,9 to over 6kmach as severely weakened so what stops Erza from dodging her attacks without any problem and easily beating her.

@William

It's not ridiculous at all. 2B vs Erza was even worse than this and nobody called it a stomp. Her invulnerability is temporary, it's on her page and I highly doubt it would help against spatial slicing even if it was permanent. If I'm remembering correctly, her precognition works by helping her dodge surprise attacks or something, it's really minor and it doesn't remotely contribute to making this a stomp. If Attack Reflection was that much of a problem for Erza, she wouldn't have beaten Meliodas. Let's say Samus reflects Erza's fireballs, she's resistant to it with her Flame Empress armor so that makes it useless. Erza can ignore durability as well. She has victories against characters that can't ignore durability, it doesn't mean those matches were stomps.

A stomp is when a character has lost before the match properly begins, or has little to no chance of winning, I think. That's hardly the case here. As for the speed, I don't know which is why I said 'speed equalized if necessary'.

It's unfair if the speed is equalised since Erza has nothing for absolute zero or precognition or attack reflection (the problem with attack reflection is that Erza can't usually hit her not that Erza would get damaged)In fact with precognition the speed should stay unequalised if we want for both to have a chance in winning.

From what Burning said it seems her precog is minor. Anyway would it really that much of a problem for her? Seeing as she beat moss head who also has precog.

"Only FT characters..."

Says the one who has an Erza picture and actively tries to fi to get Erza wins and calls stomp whenever your preferred character gets a decisive loss.

You call stomp when Erza gets a decisive loss, but your totally okay with Saber vs Akame....

Samus is DEAD up close, Nakagami armor will easily go through and cut Samus in half, and that's not the only armor she has, the alone stops it from being a stomp, sorry, your preferred character can't always win.

That said, why 2B vs Samus wasn't done I don't get.

Dude, you commented on 2B vs Samus.

Also yeah, William support FT characters. It's completely normal when you like a verse.

And i'll add, don't start a fight over nothing.

I know, hence why I don't get why it wasn't bumped.

There's supporting a verse, and being heavily biased towards and calling stomp when it doesn't go in your favor.

"Only Fairy Tail characters"

Uh, "heavily biased" would be saying that Erza wins here. And "is this fight a stomp" is an issue presented on every single thread where a fighter outhaxes the other

Ok, first things first.

@The real cal howard I'm gonna request that Frieza matchup to be removed. It doesn't have enough votes and absolute zero and time-space hax are things Frieza can't deal with at all because he has no hax whatsoever. It's like the Peach matchup all over again.

@Gargoyle One First, I really do not appreciate the tone of your response. If you call people biased based on their profile pictures, everyone and their mother here would be biased. Secondly, please do not bring up other matchups in irrelevant threads, if you have a problem with those, you know where to go. And certainly do not try and start useless arguments. Also for your information, William voted inconclusive on Saber vs Akame.

With those out of the way, I really have some questions regarding Samus, since her profile is a clusterfuck of armors and ratings.

1) What Suit is she wearing here, and what power ups does it have?

2) How does her intangibility work?

3) How does her precognition work?

4) I'm seeing % damage reduction on a lot of Suits. What's up with those?

It seems that it comes from Smash and it only last for a few seconds.
Isn't Smash like a crossover or something? If so, what makes it canon exactly?

Also please someone provide a video of it, it may very well be game mechanics considering the nature of the Smash games.

@Scarlet. Found where her Intangibilty comes from.

Screw Attack: This upgrade allows Samus to turn her body into a buzz-saw of deadly energy while spin jumping. Not only does it deal enough damage to kill all non-boss enemies in one hit, but the Screw Attack also causes Samus to be immune to majority of all forms of enemy damage, expect certain powerful attacks by bosses. In the Metroid Prime series, the Screw Attack retains its deadly attack power, but can only be used after double jumping, and will allow Samus to jump 5 times in one direction, being able to turn very slowly.

Speed Booster: Once Samus runs in one direction long enough, this ability allows Samus to run at supersonic speeds while being surrounded by energy. This turns Samus into an unstoppable force of nature, killing all enemies in one hit, dealing major damage to high-end bosses, and can break through very durable materials like stone pillars or rock walls like butter.

What classifies as "powerful attacks by bosses" exactly?

Because if the bosses are on equal terms of power with Samus and Screw Attack doesn't protect her from their attacks, logically any opponent with same tier as Samus will go through it as well. It looks to me like the technique is high defensive power that fodder enemies cannot overcome, but bosses can.

Can't say for sure but like I said before it only seems to be a minor form of intangibilty. ( Don't quote me on that.) Also I remember Erza having to ability to attack intangible targets on her profile, whatever happened to that?

If you're referring to Erza being able to hurt Ajeel Ramal, that's because his intangibility is more "Logia-like" and he also has a weakness to water and his sand can be blow away by wind. She cannot hit "true" intangible beings.

"Only Fairy Tail characters"
https://vsbattles.com/vsbattles/789427 against Erza

https://vsbattles.com/vsbattles/637893 inconclusive

https://vsbattles.com/vsbattles/608520 against Erza

https://vsbattles.com/vsbattles/792171 inconclusive

So think twice before offending someone since I could find more if I went trough every match up and even if I do try to find a way for Erza to win because I like her character my judgment is anyway not affected by it and if I see Erza can't win I point it out my self, but first I go trough every single thing because I am allowed to do so,in fact I voted for 2b as well in her battle for same reason in the end.

And if i think it's a hax stomp, i don't remember a single rule that says that i am not allowed to point it out.

Plus if this girl becomes immune on damage and Erza can't hit her I don't see how is this not a stomp.

Because people can see more clearly what is addressed to whom, and since this Wiki doesn't have tagging, that's the best thing I can do.
